Believe it or not, there are some issues that are bigger than a POTUS fulfilling a Black agenda while in office.
It's shocking to me how many folks don't recognize the danger of having a POTUS like Trump who believes he's constitutionally above the law and insulated from any criminal prosecution, which means he can do anything he wants and Congress and the Supreme Court can't touch him.

Mitch McConnell said, "Fuck that, I don't like your bill," and shut the Senate down for recess. Now some liberals are blaming the Dems for not getting a relief bill passed before leaving D.C.

Fuck whoever our candidate is for president, if you don't control Congress, you can't do shit.

And the problem with Trump isn't that he's incompetent. The man is breaking the federal government and blowing up our democracy in the process.
Trump doesn't want voters voting by mail, (because it's harder to steal an election with a paper trail), so what does he do? He hires his OWN Postmaster General, a former high level campaign donor, with one directive; do everything in your power to slow down the flow of mail leading up to the election so that mail-in ballots don't arrive in time to be cast or counted.

Trump doesn't want any future reports of Russian interference in the 2020 election to get out to the public, so Trump has his Director of National Intelligence decide he's going to STOP briefing Congress about election security. No good reason, just because.

These are the type of stories that directly impact our democracy and how the country is run, and the MSM simply won't focus on them.

Trump believes everything in D.C. is for his own personal benefit to promote his own private agendas. This is the mindset of an autocrat. He's broken his own party who refuses to stand against him when he's doing fucked up shit, which has made them rubber stamps for everything he wants to do.

Progressives need to back off their hardon for bashing the Dems and see what's really going on.

They have a strong point. She said she celebrated across multiple generations. With which family? Her mother is Indian. Indians don't celebrate Kwanzaa and if one did it wouldn't be across multiple generations. She's also Jamaican. Jamaicans do not celebrate Kwanzaa again even if one person did its not across multiple generations.

The issue with someone primarying her is that the DNC would put their full strength behind her, and we would have a rerun of the Hillary Vs Bernie fiasco of 2016.
Identity politics are far too important to the Dems for them not to anoint Kamala Harris as their heir apparent. She checks way too many boxes, and she is a center-left soldier who will toe the line as good as anybody they could hope for. Unless some earth-shattering political scandal happens before 2024, the Dems are going to ride or die with Kamala.

You're right, she isn't as strong as Hillary, and that is one of the reasons she will lose in a head-to-head presidential election. However, the Democratic establishment has to back her, they don't have a choice. The Democratic Party is beholden to identity politics. (race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.) They would collapse as a party if they didn't put their full support behind the highest-ranking brown-skinned woman in U.S. history.
