Dude 45 is the antithesis of both parties being the same. There is nothing normal about someone like him being the leader of a party. There is no business as usual with that at all. It went from shady and self serving to corrupt and flat out stupid.

Florida is gonna turn Blue, lol. Enjoy it, Floridians. You may just get Andrew Gillium after all. (Plus gun-bans as a bonus).

AB keeps screaming about the "popular" vote, as if it's self-evident.

Welcome to the bought vote. Nothing new to the Democrats.

Bloomberg pays fines for 32,000 felons in Florida so they can vote

    https://thehill.com/homenews/campai...m=widgets&utm_campaign=es_recommended_content

He paid $16 MILLION and then registered them.
(Even if they didn't want to vote, OR, possibly agreed to pay the fines of only those who said they wanted to vote, then he'd pay their restitution.)

Wonder if he will cross-check their mail-in vote to make sure it says President Kamala and VP Biden on it.

(This is part of his pledged $100 million he's pouring into Florida to try to beat President Trump)

Also, Leftist TV stations are doing the same..

MTV, VH1, Comedy Central unite to pay fees, fines to help formerly incarcerated Floridians vote

If a felon has served his or her time but has outstanding court fees, why shouldn't that person have the right to vote??
Every felon isn't a murderer or out here robbing houses. Most of them are non-violent drug offenders who lost many of their rights as citizens because they served time.

Florida never should have denied convicted felons the right to vote in the first place.
Now on to the electoral college.

Agreed! Those fines are nothing but bullshit with no other purpose than to disenfranchise that group.

Fam they're doing hysterectomies at the border fam. Just because it hasn't touched you doesn't mean it doesn't exist

In FL, it's not just court fees due, it's also restitution, which often includes to their victims. Until then, voting Rights are withheld, which seems fair.

I don't think released murderers and rapist are allowed to vote again at all, from my memory.

Don't have any problem with voting Rights being restored, my problem is he is literally buying their vote. Do you think for a minute those felons in return are not obligated to vote his way, or it's no way? The message is clear, paid to play, baby.

Who is the doctor, this "womb collector", that the one nurse calls him and says did all these hysterectomies? What is his name? It's been a week now.

    Brown vs B.O.E??
    Ridiculous.
As much as the GOP are pushing for school choice, and the Dems and teachers unions are screaming to keep the kids stuck in impoverished school zipcodes.

Yes, because the Supreme Court is going to rule IR is illegal.
I'm sure Kamela will ride that one into the ground at every stump.

I'm surprised they didn't throw in slavery so Uncle Joe can yell out some more, "they gon' put you all back in chaaains!"

Louisville is boarding the city up of all Fed and State Buildings and the whole city is on lockdown until further notice.

The AG is going to announce soon if the cops involved in the Taylor shooting will be charged or not.
Speculation is they will not be.

    You think so??

Then tell me why the GOP is pushing to appoint a new SCOTUS 5 weeks before a presidential election?? If it wasn't a big deal, they would punt and let the next POTUS make the pick.

If you don't think there's a movement of conservatives who want racially segregated schools to be ruled legal and to ban abortion through the Supreme Court, you're not being serious.

Expecting someone who never voted in the first place to now vote for your party because you paid their court fees is not a safe vote.

The thing is, it's never going to be a clear cut vote to repeal this law or that law. All the supreme court has to do to change the country is to decide one precedent-setting case.

Oh stop. Abortion won't be outlawed. You are just screaming at the sky. At most, it will be punted to the States.
At the least, a ruling it's illegal to kill infants born to term or viable. (Presented as, United States VS Gosnell.)

LOL at Republicans wanting segregation. That is all on the Democrats. Dems don't want unity of the races, it's bad for their business model.

Most communities and high schools in the South are de facto segregated through legal tricks and work arounds.
If Roe v. Wade is deemed unconstitutional, God help any woman who lives in a red state.

This is just the tip of the iceberg for a 6-3 conservative court.

The ACA is in jeopardy, as well are future worker's rights.
Again, you don't press to appoint another SC justice with a little over a month left before a presidential election unless there's some agenda you want fulfilled.

The South has been doing shit that's 'bad for their business model' since the end of slavery, which is part of the reason the South per capita is so poor.

Since you keep forgetting, once LBJ signed the Voting Rights Act and the Civil Rights Act, all the Southern dixiecrats abandoned the Democratic Party for the GOP.
Just like the same racists abandoned the Republican party after the Civil War, still considered the party of Lincoln at the time, and became Democrats.

    Try to keep up.

Hahaha, in what Universe, AB? I have a bridge for you, mate.
Of course he's buying their guaranteed vote.
If Harris-Biden was leading by a large margin in FL, no way in hell would he and LowBron be paying off their fines.
