You are right about a few things but you have a few conclusions that don't seem to add up, for example........

You know very well that Trump has been demonizing Muslims and Mexicans as "our enemies" since before he ever took office. He basically won the first election by playing on white racial fear.

Democrats and liberals are not the same things, one is a political party with the ability to right and change laws, and the other is a social ideology with the ability to hold up signs at rallies. Yes, it's true that most Democrats identify as liberals but last time I checked Nancy Pelosi, AOC, and Chuck Schumer haven't "canceled" anyone for not using the right gender pronouns for a trans person on twitter.

There have been several pushes to defund/abolish the NEA and every last one of them has been made by Republicans.

Obama has never been tied to the IRS targeting scandal (you know very well if he had Trump and the boys would be talking about it ad nauseam.

Corporate power doesn't protect American jobs it protects corporate profits, which is why America has one of the largest percentages of working poor in the industrialized world.

Nationalism can too quickly become Jingoism and there most definitely is something wrong with that.

You are right, however, about the liberals using their control of the entertainment industry to push their political and social ideologies. You're also right about corruption, nepotism, and sexism.

Illegal immigration is a huge ass problem in this country. Most whites just want people to come here legally. We have no issues with legal immigration, because it means they aren't a drain on our otherwise strained system. Most people who voted for Trump voted for him because he paid attention to middle America, and he didn't seem like he was just giving them lip service, like so many politicians do. It might be hard to believe that all whites aren't afraid of the boogeyman, but it's true. Most of us just want people to come here legally.

But a quick google search did prove your point about Trump and his islamaphobia.

You are correct about the right and wanting to defund NEA: https://www.spin.com/2017/04/donald...ment-for-the-arts-barack-obama-ronald-reagan/

Whether or not Obama knew what the IRS was doing, will probably never be discovered, but it DID happen under his administration. We'll just have to call that ambiguous.

I actually had to go to dicitionary.com to look up jingoism (it's not a term I run across hardly ever) and according to dictionary.com, the definition of Jingo is: a person who professes his or her patriotism loudly and excessively, favoring vigilant preparedness for war and an aggressive foreign policy; bellicose chauvinist.

That being said, especially in light of what just happened with Israel, Trump's administration has proven to be quite the opposite of having an "aggressive foreign policy". You could even say he's the most peaceful of the presidents we've had in decades. So, I don't believe his nationalism will turn into jingoism.

When I talked of cancel culture, I was talking about regular old leftists on Twitter and such (I didn't mention politicians). The Left certainly wages several campaigns against people who don't agree with them.

I do use Democrats and Liberals interchangeably. My bad. I will do better from here on out. What this country needs is to get back to being Moderate. Moderate Liberals and Moderate Conservatives seem to be in short supply. Moderates have to take back their respective parties, and send the extreme right and left back to the fringes of society.

You're right, according to this website: https://www.statista.com/statistics/233910/poverty-rates-in-oecd-countries/ the US ranks behind only Israel as having the highest working poor. However, I don't think it can be drilled down to corporate taxes only. There have to be several factors involved. And since that graph is from 2017, most of that time was spent under a democrat president, who did raise corporate taxes. I just don't think it's as simple as corporate taxes.

I guess the ideal way would be to work for a company that's headquartered somewhere else. Once they see that you want to stay with them long term and you're willing to relocate to be more involved in other aspects of the company (Not knowing it's your plan all along) they may let you transfer.

When you get there you can start the process of becoming a citizen. I just decided this recently so Idk just thinking out loud.

This is finally something that we can agree on. It's also one of the reasons that I take pride in being an independent swing voter.

I checked out Dr. Anderson. Smart man. In theory, I don’t disagree with him ... except when it comes to his more recent stance on voting. Any black leader that doesn’t advocate voting as part of the solution gets a side eye from me.

Now, on a practical level, what he wants to do won’t work. It will start out great, but in two generations the young people start to leave and go out into the world for bigger, better opportunities. Then, the community slowly atrophies until it’s mostly the older folks left.

I say this because I’ve seen it. My Pops has been a part of a community like that for a good 50 years. Maybe, longer. It was great at first. But, the young people want what the world has to offer. So they act accordingly. They always do. Human nature is the biggest obstacle to Powernomics. Now, in defense of Anderson’s plan, I think he embraces capitalism on a more individual level than my Pop’s people. They’re really very socialistic in what they do. So, that’s a huge difference. But, I think the outcome would eventually be the same. Though, I can’t say with 100% certainty.

Is there someone else you’d suggest.

He is for voting. He communicates in a certain way to get your attention. What he says is that if the democrats don't do what we want we should pull out and vote separately as our own voting block. That won't work like it should unless we build up market power.

He is very experienced in politics and has been teaching black people for generations but of course we don't listen. His point is that you have to have an economy behind politics. You have to control something and have an economic base through ownership or you simply will not get treated as equals. Every other group has a community so why can't we?

Even if we didn't set up a turf per se we could still obtain market power through ownership.

We have been bending the knee to our opponent for 500 years. Our opponent is formidable, very intelligent and mighty. To think that he would simply give us enough power to set ourselves on equal turf with him is just sad.

This little political power that we have in this representative republic is not going to cut it. Civil rights is a joke to the establishment. They only understand and respond to power. I don't think black people have a clue as to what we are up against.

Find someone as educated and politically experienced as Dr. Anderson? No, I don't know anyone, and if he can't get black folks to listen then I know throwing in the towel on it all was the right move for me.

You find someone and let me know.

I've said this before, NO ONE, conservative or liberal, wants to live in a country with a CONSERVATIVE Supreme Court.
That's Saudi Arabia and Iran, where you get screwed legally if you don't have the right connections.

I really believe the GOP is going to overplay their hand on this one.
