Yea something like that gonna be eaten fresh. Trout, halibut, carp, shrimp I cook that on a regular basis. I love seafood a lot more than most since I grew up near the Chesapeake.

It is pretty good. It's also easy, which is always a plus.

They fry pickles? I’m trying to picture what happens to a pickle when it lands in the hot oil!

Absolutely! Even a survival cook like myself can prepare it.

Every now and then I consider becoming a chef or caterer lol. I like cooking that much.

Idk but here is what they look like. They are breaded and seasoned well. Very enjoyable.

Let the right woman tell me this, I'll get her the kitchen of her dreams.

    For science :D

Some of us get our own kitchens of our dreams!

I've always had a love/hate relationship with cooking. The love is for the cooking itself and for being good at it. The hate part came from being tired of having to do so much of the cooking at home while growing up. I did go to school for dietetics and culinary training for a while back in the day, and I really enjoyed it.

My dream kitchen would be filled with commercial grade equipment. If I had that kind of kitchen, I'd be cooking all the time. :)

LOL. I wouldn't mind that a bit if I had the kind of kitchen I wanted. :)

I'm not crazy about my current kitchen. The overhaul is slow-going though. Unfortunately I don't have the budget for my preferred remodel.

the one they are building in my home as we speak is AMAZING! (and I used to do catering on the side - rough work but I made a lot of money)

As with most things, the right equipment makes a HUGE difference!

    scientifically speaking, of course.

A dream-kitchen is nice but I have been cooking all the time since my student days in whatever crap kitchen I was living in lol. So it doesn’t really change my cooking pattern. The current one was built into this apartment so I didn’t choose it but it’s good quality. I don’t have much to complain there. I care for good quality pots and pans and KNIVES. I have been going through too many pans because the handle breaks off after a few months of intense use lol. I also have my eye on a few Swiss Victorinox kitchen knives;-).
Right now one of the elements if the stove isn’t working. That has been a pain in the *** throughout this Corona time. Hopefully someone comes out of their cave to fix it for me some time soon.
