Michigan Democratic lawmaker says hydroxychloroquine saved her life By Amanda Woods April 7, 2020 Excerpts: On March 12th, she initially thought she’d contracted a bout of pneumonia and was prescribed the antibiotic amoxicillin. On March 31, she tested positive for COVID-19. By then, she said, her condition had “just plummeted.” She said she had never thought of hydroxychloroquine as a potential coronavirus treatment until President Trump touted the drug. At the hospital, she learned that the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, under Democrat Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, had issued a state order prohibiting the use of hydroxychloroquine.. (Her husband sprang into action to find some for her...he did) ...Whitsett was feeling better within hours of her first dose, she said. https://nypost.com/2020/04/07/michigan-democrat-says-hydroxychloroquine-saved-her-life/
And here is Rep Whitsett, along with several other survivors, at a WH press conference. She is the first person to speak.. Also, Michigan's Gov has since reversed her hydroxychloroquine ban.
Ventilator probably should be the last option. Once they put you on one, chances are you are going to have permanent lung damage. It will take you a while to get your full lung capacity back, if you are lucky. They are forcing air into inflamed lungs that are full of mucus and pus. That's going to cause damage over time. You would be lucky if the only thing happened was that you needed to regain the strength and capacity of your lungs after a machine has been doing the work for you.
The way he explained it makes sense if you know a little about how the body and chemistry works. Also zinc is really good for immunity. Because 45 said it, I guess we have to pretend that it's all bad lol. No different than when Dotard reverses a policy because it was from Obama. Same old tired and biased...... I would research It a bit more for information on the side effects and more than likely I would try it myself before I was to get bad enough to be put on a ventilator. Usually side effects aren't as bad as having your lungs damaged from a machine.
On chloroquine: https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.04.16.20065920v1.full.pdf Chloroquine usage was associated with slightly increased mortality. No evidence that it was helping significantly. I’m waiting for a study comparing HIV drugs, Remdesivir, Avigan and chloroquine. That’ll be interesting.
Looks like it was a flawed study: https://twitter.com/JamesTodaroMD/status/1252618645953482754 As far as Remdesivir, the media was hyping it up last week.
Let's get one thing straight, once and for all... He never said it was a hoax, he said it was the Dems next hoax, because that day trending on Twitter was #Trumpvirus and the New York times called it the #Trumpvirus. So he rightly called the Dems out at his rally for blaming him for the virus, as their next hoax.
