Crisis? According to the CDC, from November of 2019 until this week, approx 23,000 people have died from the flu coronavirus. That's more a crisis, no? The CDC also estimates that up to 31 million Americans have caught the flu caronavirus this season, with 210,000 to 370,000 flu sufferers hospitalized because of the virus. That clogs hospitals more, no? https://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/index.htm Information ^^^, not opinion. https://www.health.com/condition/cold-flu-sinus/how-many-people-die-of-the-flu-every-year
You are missing the point. Covid-19 is on-pace to overrun or healthcare system. People are going to die because they can't get the life-saving treatment they need. It's true that the flu kills people every year but never at the rate that preventable deaths happen due to lack of available care. The graphic below illustrates the problem.
170,000 Americans have been tested so far, and the majority are coming back negative, so that is a good sign. 95% of those testing positive exhibit mild symptoms and recover. More good signs. Schools are being converted into pop-up hospitals as are hotels that will be able to help handle any burden that hospital's might experience if there is an outbreak. ****** It would be disingenuous to disregard the stress levels and depression that is currently and going to overtake the American public within the next month. People need to work, and I'm very happy that you're getting an income but there are people who are not. People are already making themselves sick over the worry and stress, which suppresses immune systems, which make people more susceptible to viruses, and can lead to heart attacks, strokes and suicides. And there is no telling how much domestic abuse is currently and can occur over the stresses, which often leads to murder-suicides. Wait until people start becoming desperate and they stop robbing and looting, it took but two weeks for that to start to happen in Louisiana when the system broke down. There is a lot of fallout by shutting a country down. If this country continues to be shut down, businesses will close doors for good and approximately 37 million people will be laid off. We won't be in a Recession, we will be in a Depression.
45 is fucking hilarious sometimes. This I agree with even before this crisis. If you're sick around me I can care less about your feelings, I will be rude and move the hell away from you. I never liked how people seemed to not mind catching colds. I don't want any disease, they all suck. Worse thing I had was chicken pox, it was a fucking nightmare. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=234114647771666
The human immune-system is weird, getting chicken-pox as a kid means you get to stay home from school for a few days but getting it as an adult can be life-threatening.
President Trump is as popular as he's ever been right now Analysis by Chris Cillizza, CNN Editor-at-large Updated 12:18 PM ET, Wed March 25, 2020 https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/25/poli...ULsbm7C1JI34wmnQUpC3nNideLulqozR2MSDrdkcTqCaY
Um, Trump was impeached for withholding aid to Ukraine in exchange for political dirt on Joe Biden. Try again. Pelosi blocked a $500 billion slush fund controlled by Menuchin with no oversight. When a criminal tells you how they're going to rob you, it's a good idea to stop them before they start.
He didn't hold up aid for dirt on Biden, and the phone called proves it. The Dems lie was exposed -they didn't expect him to release the phone call. That's why you had Shifface make up a whole conversation in front of the committee hearing, which he should have been arrested for, for lying to Congress. Furthermore, the Aid wasn't held up, it was released and there was no, what you call "political dirt" given. It's why the bogus impeachment attempt failed. LOL at you saying she "blocked a slush fund" , when that witch flew in on her broom from CA to actually add her huge slush fund. All of America saw it. Even an Obama vet saw it.. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ob...-coronavirus-bill-have-we-learned-nothing.amp Obama, Biden veterans slam Pelosi's coronavirus bill: 'Have we learned nothing?
Louisiana is a hotbed right now. "Yesterday, one of the first deaths of a Virginia resident from COVID-19 was a Christian musical evangelist who, believing the pandemic response to be anti-Trump “mass hysteria,” took his family to New Orleans to “wash it from its Sin and debauchery.” "The Roanoke Times described Spradlin as a “traveling musical minister” and “fine guitarist” with a “powerful soul-blues voice,” at one time “a significant part of the Roanoke-area blues scene.” Virginia Pastor Who Said COVID-19 Was Anti-Trump “Mass Hysteria” Dies of Virus https://friendlyatheist.patheos.com...yLVa5mWGH8uwAJZfnFHz9GQV2rG013rzm-L2QYXOTgi9k "NEW ORLEANS BECOMES HOT SPOT FOR COVID-19: Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards discusses the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The state is becoming a U.S. hot spot, jumping from 100 to over 2,300 cases in just a week. The number of hospitalized patients surged by 38% from yesterday to today, and the number of people on ventilators went up 46%, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported. 'Our ventilator capacity is far from okay in Louisiana,' said Edwards, as nurses described a 'war zone' at strained local hospitals." ~ Now this is politics
Yeah I noticed that too when someone posted that on FB saying the man died because he listened to 45. smh. The stuff he took wasn't what 45 was talking about at all.
Just say you didn't watch the impeachment hearings.lol Republicans Now Say Trump Did What He Was Accused Of — They Just Don’t Care https://www.buzzfeednews.com/articl...eachment-trial-republicans-ukraine-fine-aquit Republican Senator Rob Portman believes Trump was guilty, but his actions didn't rise to the level of impeachment. Republican Senator Lamar Alexander said the same thing, guilty but not impeachable. And why is this $2 trillion relief bill Nancy Pelosi's bill?? Yes, there was funding in the bill for things unrelated to COVID19 relief aid, but that wasn't done exclusively by Pelosi. The Republicans had riders in both the Senate and House bill too. Oh, and I guess your cool Mnuchin and his personal $500 billion stimulus package with no disclosure of who's given aid until AFTER the election??
Trump was on Faux News telling people malaria drug chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine were potential cures for COVID19. The Arizona mistakenly took chloroquine phosphate which was an additive in an aquarium leaner. It wasn't Trump's fault they didn't know what they were doing, but our dumbass POTUS shouldn't be giving theoretical antiviral information on TV either.
