I'm glad you showed that interview because they asked Merrit a question and he was just very matter-of-fact... but they're trying to spin it elsewhere that he's "not ruling out that law enforcement are behind this... That it was possibly a state-sponsored hit." Unless it was just an act of revenge for testifying, his testimony isn't what put Amber away it wasn't that significant in the sense that he just explained what happened from his point of view. There were other witness testimonies very similar to his Now Lee had moved from the Complex where Botham was killed because he didn't want to stay where there was a murder --this apartment complex is 10 minutes away. He was an Airbnb host and a roofer. Merritt said that there's no gang activity, no sex or drugs or lover's quarrel in his background. I guess we'll see how intense the police investigate this. it's just really horrific that a week later this poor guy is dead. You just never know when it's your time. How pathetic. Wonder now what Botham's preference was... So glad it didn't come out if it was IR... Don't think he would have gotten the same support if it was. Sickening to even have to say that.
More dirt in this case. The woman who filmed Guyger on her cell phone after the shooting was fired from her job as a pharmaceutic rep because she started getting harassing phone calls at work claiming that she was an anti-white, anti-cop activist. http://theoklahomaeagle.net/2019/10...ham-jean-fired-from-job-in-retaliation-video/ This is strange considering the fact that her name was not released to the public and the DA's office put her under a gag order after they confiscated the cell phone footage from her.
More info.. "..Brown was due to testify in the Jean's Family's upcoming civil lawsuit against the Dallas PD... Last year, Brown was shot in the foot and a 25-year-old man was killed in a shooting outside a nightclub. His family attorney told CBS News that after that shooting, Brown was concerned that someone was after him. 'He was reluctant to testify in this case because he had been shot at and he thought some people might want to do harm to him,' Merritt said". He was targeted, that part is obvious. Any 'motive' they eventually establish is utterly fucked up. They better catch his killers.
Props to the people on Twitter who caught this. Mammy Tammy literally said that she was surprised Brown showed up to testify when he was on the stand.
Watch that 10 times, see hear the "of course" but where do you see she says I'm surprised he came? Anyway, it's showing more and more that it was a drug deal gone bad. That's why this is going nowhere. He sure was a flashy braggard on Instagram.
Allegedly it was a drug deal gone bad. We don't know yet, except what the DPD is reporting. Unless the kid was moving weight, I don't see how a basic drug deal leads to a shootout. I'm open to whatever conclusion, but I'm also hearing the DPD is a dirty operation, like New Orleans law enforcement was in the 1980s and '90s. Sometimes you can get people with time over their heads to do shit for you and they don't even know.
They claim: "Police confiscated 12 pounds of marijuana, 149 grams of THC cartridges and $4,157 in cash during a search of Brown's home, Moore said." https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...ade-death-witness-amber-guyger-trial-n1063836 It's suspect how brown was shot in the mouth. I'm gonna follow this one.
[ Basic drug deals often lead to shootings. He did flaunt so maybe they were trying to rob him? On the flip-side, I've been reading theories on Urban sites. Many speculate the day he testified, he became a marked Man.. That even though he was testifying for the Prosecution against a cop, they see him as bad news because he's now interacting with cops/DA and see him as a snitch or potential snitch. Many speculate that those three were sent to off him.
Back to Botham... Look how beautifully his best friend spoke of him during sentencing. According to the lovely comments left, a foundation/scholarship in his honor has also been set up by his university...
