If there was no romance what on earth was her reason for killing dude. Initiation?

 

We're definitely missing something, this is the weirdest case yet. Even if she did think she was in her apartment he could have been a maintenance worker.

LOL It turns out that the investigator for the Texas Rangers who initially recommended that no charges be filed is Black. Luckily, the judge threw out his bullshit testimony and won't let it go before the jury.

Remember that the previous DA, who was a Black female, was the one who didn't want to pursue murder charges against Guyger and was pushing for manslaughter only. She also lobbied to be allowed to personally supervise the case so that she could sabotage it after she lost her election.

Further proof that coons are the most dangerous people to the community.

 

Took days for them to issue a warrant for her arrest so any drugs she took wouldn't show up on a drug test.

Unless of course they tested her hair. That's what they should have done.

 

Ive followed this story since the murder and there’s legitimately no chance they didn’t have a sexual relationship with each other. Of course the narrative is all fake news when they won’t even let that detail come out

 

One time I came out of a store from shopping and walked over to an identical car and opened the unlocked door. Instantly I recognized it wasn't my car.

So did the owner.lol Dude walked up behind me and was about to knock my block off before I walked him over to my car and explained is was a genuine mistake.

Unless you're drunk or under the influence, I don't see how you walk into an apartment with the wrong numbers above the door and not recognize in seconds it's not your crib.

 

That would explain why the door was ajar. Her being a cop and seeing no signs of forced entry and STILL thinking it's her apartment is too unreal to be true.

She has to go to prison for this or the law is a one-sided bad joke leaving you only your own ethics or lack thereof.

Was she charged with Murder or Manslaughter? After that emotionally testimony yesterday was live-streamed & I assume live-broadcasted on TV, I'm thinking she gets off if she was charged with Murder.

But if she was only charged with Manslaughter, I don't see how she gets off. She killed someone.

 

Yeah, i'm thinking she'll do more crying and eventually walk. I am glad the defense weren't successful in getting the change of venue. That wrong apartment thing just doesn't sound right. Is it possible?... sure, no doubt, but something tells me that unless you're in imminent danger (like physically... not a reason attacked or about to be).. not a reason use deadly force. It's really hard to buy her explanation. One walks into the wrong apartment... Even if it's the same tier... You immediately recognize things that tell you that something is different. Possibly, even before you open the door.

 

This is a totally incoherent line of thinking. Being charged with a more serious offense doesn't preclude conviction on the lesser offense. It's not either or. If she's guilty of murder, she's also technically guilty of manslaughter. They can also find her guilty of manslaughter, but not murder.

Also, people need to look up the definition of these offenses. Because there's all sorts of false assumptions about what's required for a murder conviction.

"Murder" is cause death after acting with the intention to kill. She shot Jean center mass twice. That's clear intention to kill. The correct charge is murder.

She can argue that she's not culpable because she was defending herself, or because of some kind of mental duress, but the correct charge is murder.

She can whine and cry all that she wants to, but the evidence is damning. She made no attempt to resuscitate Jean at the scene and was complaining about how she was going to lose her job in the body cam footage that was showed to the jury.

It turns out that this dude got away with killing a civilian in a car wreck that he caused when he was driving 80 mph in a 40 mph zone when driving back from his duty shift.

It's fucking unreal what cops get away with and how far they'll go to cover each others asses.

 

The judge ruled that the jury can consider the "castle doctrine" in their deliberations. Texas has the broadest interpretation of the castle doctrine in any state to the point where it's basically just a variation of the "stand your ground" law.

Oh well. After this it looks like the most likely outcome is a hung jury or, at best, a manslaughter conviction.

 

That either shouldn't be allowed or it should backfire because she wasn't "authorized" to be in his apartment. If it doesn't the entire legal system is bullshit and there is no grounds to be judgemental against anyone that disregards it.

I value people with ethics. We'll see if the law means anything other than "just don't get caught."

 

Glad to be proven wrong. They convicted her of murder. But there's nothing to really celebrate. That man got killed for no reason, and he's not coming back to his family.

My theory is that the judge allowed it so it could backfire and so that she wouldn't have grounds for appeal.
