I kind of agree, but I think one of the important lessons of Trump has been that a lot of groups in the Republican party we thought were small and insignificant were actually much larger than we thought. Stuff like conspiracy theorizing that we thought was only for fringe wackos seems to be mainstream in the Republican party right now. It's not just 5% or something like diehard PETA acolytes in the Democratic party.

Plus, the Senate is still controlled by the GOP. There's not really ant point in the House voting on articles of impeachment if the Senate's just going to find him not guilty, anyway.

President Trump's Justice Department announced that 3,100 inmates are being released today from federal prisons across the country as part of his FIRST STEP ACT promise.

The average shave-off from their sentences is 73 months. (Wow)
They're also working with employers to the hire these inmate and this is just the beginning.
For others awaiting, their good behavior and showing they won't re-offend, their sentences have been slashed/commuted.

It's not about actually impeaching Trump, through an impeachment inquiry the Dems can educate 99% of the country who didn't read the Mueller report how criminal our current POTUS is and lay out his crimes to the American people.

Whether Trump is impeached or not by the Senate is almost secondary.

WHen the American people can hear live testimony from witnesses and listen to how Trump operated in the WH and during his campaign, it's going to effectively destroy Trump's administration.

In fact, if the impeachment inquiry is successful, Senate republicans will have to go on record as to whether or not they support an openly lawless, treasonous POTUS.

It's like in the OJ and Casey Anthony cases. Both were found not guilty by a jury(Senate), however after most Americans saw the evidence against them, they decided regardless of the verdict they were still guilty.

It's the same effect an impeachment inquiry would have against Trump.

Problem is the Dems are running out of time.

I'll believe it when it actually happens. Trump and his DOJ have a bad habit of talking bullshit then not doing anything.
Like the ICE raids that were supposed to happen this past weekend.

Raids did happen but some happened a day early to which New York outcied saying that wasn't fair. (Keep in mind these ice raids are of people already who had hearings by Federal Judges and were told to return to theit countries, who instead flouted their court outcomes and never left.)

Why would you think 3100 Federal inmates weren't released today across the country?
Do you really think that people aren't watching? WAPO even covered their releases.
