Free college is what we are talking about.

Explain how it's free in New York if it's not available?

I never said that was my idea of free college you asked where its being applied and I answered. Obviously its not perfect and can be improved but honestly what can't be

The same way its free and available in other parts of the world where certain standards have to be me. Kind of like college admissions. Its not perfect and can be worked on but its better than what we currently have right?

Obviously it's not free. You lied

There is no free college. You lied

Of course because 70 percent got rejected. So how is that different when you bitch about capitalism excluding people?

If it isnt available it's not free. A 12 year old with a weekly allowance can see that fact clear as day.

Why should that 70 percent vote for it and pay for it in taxes??

    Lol. Fuck out of here

    Check mate

Ok keep playing checkers my guy. Everyone pays for the fire department even if their house is not on fire right? We pay to make sure its available. Standards are set to make sure the most serious students (like you bitched about) are the ones to go. Again it is not perfect but its a start and far better than the bs we have now.

Because those services of the fire department are available.

    They don't REJECT people.

Seriously is that all you got?

    That's pitiful.

The schools ARE available to everyone you just have to get in.
You're being obtuse and you know it. Good day to you sir

"You just have to get in"

    LMFAO

You like to compare it to highschool but unlike college, highschool is actually available to everyone.

Bernie bots really are a waste of time. I just happen to like comedy.

I refer you to schools like Bronx Science and Brooklyn Tech high schools. Free tuition but you have to get in. Again good day sir

So what. You act as if I didn't know that high school was " free tuition"

One thing about college education in the US (as far as I know) it’s the only route to a tertiary education, right?
For example in Germany and the other German speaking countries not everyone goes to the same secondary schools and only 20% -35% of all students take the route to university. The rest gets employment based vocational training. That means they are employed as trainees and work but attend vocational school twice a week. So less than half of all high school graduates get a subsidised university education. However even the other options are free, but vocational schools are cheaper to run than university.

We have community colleges that are very cheap and they teach trades. We have employers that provide tuition reimbursement. We have on the job training. Online schools. Grants, scholarships, federal backed low interest loans. They also give you opportunities to stop making payments for different reasons.

It's also easier to get into a university here than it is in Europe.

Also the universities in the south are very affordable. We even have Historical black colleges that offer minority scholarships to white people as well as reserve plenty of space for blacks.

It's not hard to get an education here. We just have the one problem of Universities being more expensive than they should in the Northeast and California. We just need those fees lowered. No need to throw the baby out with the bath water. Our educational system works.

There is just a grass is greener vocal minority that thinks America should copy Europe every chance they get like a lost middle school child.

Its definitely more realistic to make small changes to the existing system than to completely turn it upside down. I don’t understand how they pay for postgraduate programmes though, especially international students. I find the cost exorbitant. Unfortunately. Else I’d have applied long ago.

Hahahaha! We used to go soo hard between parting and working that some guys would sleep in the intakes of the Jets before a sortie, just to get a quick nap before an event. Grind for 14 hours, shower, party all night, then go back at it again. Hahahaha! There was no danger in that because the plane captains walked all the jets before the pilots even came out, because they had to prep them for safety reasons. If someone was taking a quick nap. The plane captain would just wake him up and he would then get ready to do his job for the event.

    LMAO

    We invented no sleep.
