I finally watched last week's Season 2-episode 8 of C&D. @qaz1 I'm a be real, Evita is finer than Tandy.

lol. Tandy aka Olivia Holt's puffy cheeks are too cute not to go with #TeamTandy imo. But they're both beautiful.

But then you both are going to be quite disappointed

along with the #teamevita shippers when her marriage to Papa Legba spelled the end of that relationship and Tyrone and Tandy basically was declaring their love for each other during that whole sequence where Tandy chose to stay in there with Ty.

Yeah, that was me! I wanted them to end that tired Evita story line that no one wanted and put Ty & Tandy together ASAP. Even Olivia Holt AKA "Tandy" says she knows everybody and their mom wants Ty & Tandy together. She and Aubrey Joseph read the IG and Twitter threads that's why they're constantly donig promotional junkets with each other ...LOL

 

I like the way the story played out because of who she eventually becomes, but the thing I hated that I thought I was funny at first but became cringe-worthy was the show's twitter handle @CloakAndDagger repeatedly using the the #teamevita hashtag because every time they did that the comments will be FILLED with rejection and #Tyrandy shippers from men and women of every race. I have never seen so many black females not with a BLACK LOVE story! It was odd to see, but it just goes to show their storytelling and Olivia's and Aubrey's chemistry is off the charts!

 

Y'all are getting me wrong here lol. Let me clear this up... Evita is fine, but that is NO shade to Tandy. I'm absolutely feeling Tandy also. I'm def still on "Team Tandy" as far as coupling with Ty goes. I was only pointing out that Evita is one gorgeous looking individual (tell me I'm wrong)...as is Tandy.

Edit: And now that I think of it, Evita way outclasses Tandy at being a great girlfriend so far (not that we've seen either date more than one person). But we all know that Tandy and Ty will be great together.

 

Your edit just said otherwise. lol. It's cool if you're #teamevita one thing I love about this show is all of the fans are cool with each other even the ones that wanted him with Evita they are still loving and supportive of him and Tandy.

I think both Tandy and Evita are beautiful. I've just been especially struck by Evita this season (I was especially struck by Tandy last season when I saw her in her glasses).





And yes, I think Evita is an overall great girlfriend. Tandy isn't nearly as well-adjusted. Most of the show has been dealing with her (and Ty's) issues. But I still prefer to see Ty with Tandy, even over Evita. I think they'll ultimately be there better couple.

I prefer Eviya with her hair down. So if we're going based off those 2 pics, i'm choosing Tandy.

 

LOL..I joined in on the avalanche of comments rejecting #TeamEvita. You're absolutely right about their chemistry, I keep thinking (and hoping) that they're dating in real life because their chemistry is just too perfect.

 

TV world is rough....lol. An old friend of mine is a TV agent, but he's the "pro black" type now so I can't get any good info from him.....lol

We started hanging back in the day as teens because we both preferred white women, funny how that works.

 

He looks at white women porn on the low. And sheds a tear every time a pink nipple is shown on a Netflix original. He probably reaches out to white booty in his sleep. Or he orders pumpkin spice lattes to remember the good ole days.

 

That is what's confusing me. If you see Evita as a better GF why do you want him with someone who isn't nearly as well-adjusted? If I saw it that way I would want him with Evita.

But if you have been watching as you stated they both have issues, but together they are both growing more and more fond of each other and have the most in common. They have had some powerful moments together that illustrates that including in last week's episode. So those things makes Tandy a better GF to Ty. She may not be a good GF to anyone else(lol) but Evita has sexy and beautiful looks and kindess other than that she doesn't have that much in common with him and doesn't even really know him like that. Plus he has been spending more time with Tandy and away from her for reasons you would have to watch the series to understand so that I could avoid not giving too much away.

Need more than looks and kindness and that is what Tandy(Olivia) has with Ty(Aubrey). I wouldn't be surprised if these two wind up together in real life or they're already dating.

 

Lol that's the only pic I could find of Evita in her cheerleading outfit from that episode. It doesn't do her justice. Tandy sure looks good in those glasses tho, huh? Lol
