just so you know, of course some of these foreign women will gush all over you, they don't know you well, and many but not all may have an agenda and are looking for a ticket out of their country and $$$$$ and more $$$$$ and don't forget, $$$$$ will say anything to you, flatter you etc to get what they want $$$$$ just as you think us horrible American women do.

 

Lol its not that deep pumpkin just my personal experience .. Ive definitely met some pretty cool American white chicks that bring alot of value to the table so its not completely one sided ... But I will say that all the international white girls Ive been wit dont need me for money or a visa since they are well traveled and have money of there own

Smooth talker as usual, just be careful with sweeping statements, many American girls could say that all American men are dummies and slobs, video game playing, basement dudes hooked on porn with no finesse or style, and no clue. Then there are those guys who prefer foreign women because they think they will take their rubbish, and not stand up to them, or they feel they dont have to make any effort to know the girl, and this reflects more on them than on the American women.

I had a conversation about this. In some places, white women in america, just aren't whiting it up like they used to. They used to be really white with it, but this new generation of white women are so beige with it. If you are lucky, you can find a white woman who is off-white or eggshell with it, but that is rare.

On a serious note, the only way he is running into a problem is if he lives in portland oregon and isn't in to purple hair, tattoos, and piercings, or he runs into one of the many Kardashian clones that are out there. Because if you venture into places that "people of substance" like to go, you will find them, regardless of race.

(side note....a guy was talking to me the other day and he says "light skin" women, he was referring to any non-black woman in keeping with the beige, off-white, eggshell theory. Kinda funny that I grew up being told I wasn't white as a part Italian girl and now I hear I'm one of the whitest women out there. I'll just stick with I'm not that generation smh)

Ok folks, I really have no problems with a guy who prefers foreign women, we are all entitled to our preferences, my issue or beef or whatever you want call it is when guys or the guys on this forum start bagging on and disparaging American women, lumping us all in one bad thought, we are not all the same. D’s post further up just hit a bad cord with me, again, no problem if he prefers foreign girls, but when he then comes in and implies American women don't have substance, I found that a bit ignorant childish and rude, and he was not giving it thought.

I have also observed when the conversation comes to American women vs foreign, and when the guy says he likes the foreign women, more often than not, it comes with a put down or describing a defect of American women. Why cant one state the preference without putting down the other? is it perhaps to somehow justify and convince themselves?

By the way, yes, he said it was not that “deep” well, if one has any “substance” they are going to have to go deep in their ideas, thoughts and words and be more careful in how they say stuff. Naturally when one states a preference and then puts down another group to state that preference, there might be some backlash and hard feelings.

yeah, maybe he is running into a certain type, I notice sometimes when guys complain of women, in one way or another, it might be a problem with him as well. There might be a perfectly nice woman around for him to meet, but he is too blind to see her; she might not be an instagram model type or porn star type. She may not be loud, flirty, or very pushy with her sexuality, dress etc, and flood him with flattery and attention, so he does not give her the time of day. He then goes for the other type, and gets burned, and then says they are all bad, and he keeps doing this over and over, and never looking at himself, but blaming women.

Now I am not saying a woman asserting herself and sexuality is a bad thing, but for me, there needs to be middle ground, maybe a little flirty without being super pushy and overly overt, if that makes any sense, I am not sure of the exact way to put this.

 

I get what you are saying. To be fair, I have had similar experiences in my youth. This was the early 2000s, so that may not be the issue now. I found that traveling to various countries and experiencing different cultures opened me up to different thought processes. I also found that in many cases, being treated as a "black American foreigner" in certain countries was much more desirable than being treated as a black man in my own country. Depending on the country, it still holds true today.

As far as "substance" goes, Destiny's profile says 27. You couldn't pay me to date in this country in my 20s nowadays. The way things are with the under 30 crowd is a little wild. Hell, even the below 40 crowd is a bit off these days (Being 37, I see it often enough). Factoring in the extreme "men are all bad" mantras that are in the media, television, and social media, I can understand him a bit. Considering that any time people hate men, the "actionable hatred" is normally directed at black men. Granted, I have seen plenty of "cis white male" crap. But, it isn't institutionalized the way it is for black men. So, although I think he could have worded it differently, and he could venture to different places to find someone more to his liking, I also understand that he may just have a preference for a certain "cultural mindset" that may be difficult to find in this country.

 

Im sorry my darling I didnt mean to offend ... It was quite ignorant on my part so I apologize for that ... But American men bein dumb as shit aint too far fetched if you ask me haha ... But like one of the guys stated in this comment section after me is that foreign women definitely do show us sooooooo much more appreciation and love then American women ... I get this over and over again ... I guess maybe because when we go out there we are considered “exotic”? But yea what you were saying about American vs Foreign and putting down one group of people to uplift another reminds me of when some guys on this site put down black women to uplift white girls ... Bro you are literally readin my mind word for word ... As a 27 yr old who was born and raised in NYC dating here literally is chaotic ... Women have so much leverage here that even a 7 will tell you if you dont have a house and a car she wont give you the time of day ... Worst case scenario, you definitely want to have one or the other ... Some girls my age and a bit younger even ask you for your instagram and shit just to see how many followers you got when you ask them for their number (mind you I dont use instagram or twitter) ... They want to know who you know/if you are a popular person before they even deem you are worthy of their time ... Ive been hearing the same thing from some friends who live in Los Angeles and those popolous areas about Cali as well

I do score a bit easier on dating sites but it seems like alot of women on there are looking for attention ... You can message a ton of girls sometimes just to find one you like thats about her business ... Hence why you can go on there years later and see some of the same familiar faces that never left ... Shit is just a headache to deal wit ... Reason why I just focus on building my future these days and let everything else come ... But when I go out the country it feels like a breathe of fresh air ... Women are more enthusiastic when they first meet you ... People there tend to be simple and less superficial ... Its more of an organic attraction and take things from there without all the extra games played ... This is just my experience
