Reading the extended synopsis of this movie it seems like this is a hookup turned into a romance movie. So could be pretty good. Something also tells me with them reenacting her 'trysts' (lol) it's going to be a very adult comedy. lol. The plot centers on Darla (Snow), a cynical reporter whose sex addiction is getting in the way of her sex column, and her evolving relationship with Bailey, a well-meaning sweetheart who’s been dumped by his fiancé Elizabeth (Akana) and learns he has testicular cancer (again). Together they embark on an impromptu cross country road trip, recreating Darla’s myriad trysts from state to state. She’s looking for a story and he’s looking for a last hurrah; what they find is something neither expected. https://deadline.com/2019/03/jordan...na-brittany-snow-bailey-and-darla-1202576138/ If written well this could be a very good movie. The plot sounds very creative and interesting. Jordana Brewster is also in this.
I was thinking the same thing lol. Did you see "Good Luck Chuck" years ago? I wonder if they'd go that raunchy for comedic effect. Probably not Yeah I saw she was in this too, a fave of mine from way back. But since her character wasn't linked to a black guy I figured no one here would care
Nah, because I can't stand Dane Cook. lol. I didn't see who wrote this movie though so it is up in the air, but this plot is really interesting. Got to wait until the trailer comes out.
Lol I actually never saw it either. But I heard from multiple people that it bordered in pornographic.
It's her directorial debut Unicorn Store that they debuted at the Toronto Film Festival In 2017. It finally has a trailer, a distributor and a release date. And the black guy played by Mamadou Athie from Sorry For Your Loss plays her love interest.
I mentioned this movie last year. Got panned at the Toronto Film fest and from the looks of this trailer that sounds about right.
Worth checking out. Looks like your standard NETFLIX original Comedy. I support it when artist try to be original. Too many out here just copying and making remakes. I'll check it out.
All this movie gonna do is add more fuel to the Right Of Center White Male Brigade on Social Media Theory that Brie Lawson is anti white male. Frankly they shouldn't jump to such a conclusion until she actually is seen dating a non-white dude.
Yeah......I think i'm gonna have to pass on this. I would't even consider watching this film if it wasn't for the IR angle, plus I don't really care for the BM actor that's her love interest. Did you see this old Reddit AMA interview with Brie Larson that was recently dug up this month?: https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/19s71y/hi_im_brie_larson_ask_me_anything/c8quf91/ She admits she's dated BM before, so I'm sure that didn't go over well.
Didn't see the interview but heard she had a black boyfriend way back. Still none of that should matter to her white male haters until they see her arm-and-arm with a black dude on the red carpet.
Other than a silly ass airport incident that happened a few years ago where she thought a TSA agent was doing a little too much by asking for her number I really haven't seen much from this woman as to why black men especially some here is wary about her. Everything I seen from her the past couple of months have been her angering white men with comments that was misinterpreted and pretty much proves that THEY are the ones that are actually racist if someone wanting more diversity somewhere is racist against white men to them. I have heard arguments about that before when people want more diversity that automatically think it's anti-white male and white genocide and all that nonsense. They didn't come this hard at Black Panther as they are doing with Brie and Captain Marvel, but there were white men upset with BP because they thought it was racist against white men. "What about White Panther?" lol. That seems to be the way racist are countering those fighting against racism; see racial diversity as a form of racial discrimination against white men. Think black men getting more representation in places is anti-white male.
Saw the movie The Beach Bum and Snoop Dogg's character had a relationship with Isla Fisher's character.
Had? We're they exes? Or did you mean 'has'. lol. And is Isla Fisher the one from The Office? I always get her, Amy Adams and another actress that looks like them mixed up. lol.
Also,in the flick was Jimmy Buffett. Actually,it was a affair of the wife of Matthew McCaualey's character played by Ms.Fisher.
