Not quite. Fox have so far refused to share the findings of their own internal investigation. "While the channels didn't reveal their findings - they have "no further comment". Most likely, while he admitted to being sexually creepy, the resurfaced 80's allegation of rape from Tchiya Amet was probably not something they investigated because that's a criminal matter beyond their scope and way past the statute of limitations. They likely stuck to looking into the non-criminal sexual-harassment accusations of which he has since apologized. End of the day, being sexually creepy was not bad enough to keep the two shows off the air.
I don't believe if they found evidence that he was a sexual creeper they would have reinstated him, that would set them up for a huge liability if he did it again. No media company is going to take that risk, especially in this climate.
Here is exactly what they said. "The investigation is complete, and we are moving forward with both StarTalk and Cosmos. StarTalk will return to the air with the remaining 13 episodes in April on National Geographic, and both Fox and National Geographic are committed to finding an air date for Cosmos. There will be no further comment." So let's look at what did they investigate: Dr. Katelyn N. Allers, an associate professor of physics and astronomy at Bucknell University says she was “felt up” by Tyson at a party in 2009; His former assistant Ashley Watson, stated she quit her job because of Tyson’s sexual advances. He offered his account of the incidents, suggesting that his interactions with Allers and Watson were misinterpreted and never intended to be sexual in nature. He admitted to the incident at his apartment, with her saying it was creepy and sexual and he saying "he was just being friendly". He apologized. (I won't address the other 2 women because again, Amet can't prove the rape even though she (said) has spoken out on it for decades. He said they were dating she said they were not. The other woman remains anonymous.) So if you look at what remains, Fox decided to go forward anyway. Obviously they felt it wasn't bad enough to pull his shows. (Even Roesanne re-runs are back on TVLand.) Does being sexually creepy mean you should lose your shows? I don't think he should. Clearly neither did Fox.
It falls into the theory of “rape culture”. Rape culture was first coined in the 70s for a documentary about male victims of rape within the prison system (predominantly affecting black and Latino men). Feminism later took that term, removed the black and Latino men as well as the prison part and focused solely on women. So, I’m regards to metoo, it would essentially be a “rape culture” issue, that would require them to point it out for the sake of women, but not necessarily a pressing matter.
BGS IBMOR Broke down the REAL reason so much focus is on black men like R. Kelly and Michael Jackson. When you hear more about this Epstein crime it goes beyond WAY horrible than what R. Kelly has done and what they are alleging from Michael Jackson. This involves human trafficking and high profile men like Trump and Clinton. But no documentary, no at length and continuous reporting on this from the MSM. BGS IBMOR really let you know how this system of white supremacy works. Black men are the fall guys.
Man, that ain't even the half of it. Turns out Depp is the victim and Heard is the abuser. Feminists remain silent for some odd reason...
Barbra Streisand gives the worse possible defense of the Michael Jackson allegations. So basically she believes MJ is a child molester but she doesn't think it's that bad. She somehow managed to be on the wrong side of both camps at the same time, it's actually kind of impressive.
I just recently found out that Micheal Jackson wrote guides to single malt Scotch. The 5th and 6th edition garner's respect from enthusiasts as it was accourding to them the guide to go to. Some of the notes are dated due to some of the bottles no longer being available, but I imagine it still has very interesting info, especially considering how he splurged endlessly on anything that captured his interest. He was once considered the man for notes and info on Scotch whisky. I'm gonna pick up some copies for myself and repurchase ALL of his music.
Her comments are beyond bizzare. The unfortunate thing is, in today's world, years of a stellar reputation can be brought down in one single swoop. There is no mercy or gray areas of one's thoughts allowed. But that is the world she helped foster and to fester, so no mercy for her. I still love her music though, despite the call to boycott it.
' “This is what’s on my heart this morning,” Diana Ross tweeted. “I believe and trust that MichaelJackson was and is A magnificent incredible force to me and to many others.” Ross, 74, also tweeted “STOP IN THE NAME OF LOVE.” The message was in response to the ongoing backlash against the pop star who is sadly not around to defend himself.'
