Smh. They were too. You just wasn't paying attention. They ran several commercials heading into it's premiere.
They also gave them set ups and a panel at SDCC.

If you don't watch NBC that much you can't say they did almost no promo for it. I remember commercials being ran during This Is Us and New Amsterdam. They weren't doing much prime time or mainstream interviews, but it's completely over-exaggerating saying they did almost no promo.

They made it work on national TV if you guys were really actually watching this season. Great episodes after great episodes. And the viewership has been steady along with huge jumps in the ratings for a Friday show.

The show averaged 2.009 viewers and last week's episode was at 2.415. And did quite well on Fridays ranking in the top 3 shows all season. They're shopping it around which tells me it was for another reason why they cancelled it and this show will most definitely be back somewhere with those kind of ratings jumps during the season . The writing is too good and the viewership and fan base is too strong. With some shows coming up on their series finale like HBO's GoT and cancelling other shows on their network something tells me they will get picked up fast. And maybe you guys are right and it should go to a cable network, but they made it work on national TV. Last night's episode was intense!

Also there are other shows on their network that averaged around 2 million viewers as well so like TIMELESS this can not be a ratings thing. My only guess at the moment is they are probably looking for money which is why they are shopping it around. Usually we hear about the producers and creators of the show shopping it around not the Network that is cancelling it so that's some good news.

I watch most network shows through Hulu and for viewers like (which is approaching the majority) if you aren't promoting during those commercials or YouTube that is next to no promotion.

This show was probably expensive and didn't yield enough ratings to maintain the cost - the margins are different for cable and streaming services.
    It'll find a home somewhere.

I have no clue what you mean by that I was just pointing out they have so during some pretty big times like showing the ads during their hit TV shows and giving them a panel. And the youtube promos are all over youtube including NBC's youtube page and twitter page.

Is "Pine Gap" a real Netflix original show or is just a foreign show that Netflix picked-up the North American broadcast rights to? I get the feeling it's the latter.

    It's Netflix's first ever ABC TV/Netflix co-production

But being as though this show has nudity and profanity it is more than likely a ABC-Australia/Netflix co production. No way ABC over here in U.S. in this fragile society would air a full moon like this

I'm on episode 2 right now and it's good so far.

Which one matters? Socially or "legally?"

I guess it depends on the context. In the context we were talking about, the character/actor we were discussing is looked at as white. You have to look up info on the actor just to find out he's an Arab. So you could say he's both legally & socially "White" despite being Arab.

It's very possible to be a white Arab. I'm sure you know why. Can't help but wonder why anyone would
care what their race is "legally" when discrimination itself is illegal.

Katrina Bowden joins the cast of Bold and The Beautiful, as the ex of Dr Reese Buckingham (played by Wayne Brady ). It's being rumored that she will enter into a Love Triangle with him and Dr Taylor Hayes, (Hunter Tylo). PS: I'm really excited.

I knew that named looked familiar. This is the chick that played Tina Fey's young, attractive assistant Cerie on "30 Rock".

Katrina Bowden seems like a pretty cool person based on interviews she was also in "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil"

[IMG] Watching the 2nd episode of the new season 5 of "Luther". They brought Alice back.

    EDIT:
They reveal in flashbacks that Luther & Alice got together offscreen in the past.
