Yeah, its all messed up. However, I think the Metoo movement getting its foundation rocked would be good for it in the long run. When social movements aren't 100% honest with themselves, they have a tendency to fall apart.
Who was given the drug without their knowledge? Any supporting links? Evidence? And when was the last time Cosby gave quaaludes to anyone? If the intent was rape, when quaaludes we're no longer available, why didn't he simply start using another drug to give his "victims"
I'm not trying to litigate the case. My only point is that giving people drugs in hopes that it'll change a *no* or even a *maybe* into a *yes* is wrong. And if the women you're having sex with have a pattern of waking up after and not remembering what happened, you've got some changes to make.
You think Cosby used drugs in hopes that women would change their minds and decide to have sex with him. lmfao! Funniest read of the month so far.
No you're right. Women that use drugs don't want to be high during sex for some strange reason. Go figure..... lol
I don't believe all of his accusers were habitual drug users. Even if they were, they have a right to consent to sexual activity. Also, the sheer number of accusers with similar stories shouldn't be dismissed out of hand. You think that many women wanted to be blacked out during sex? But to be clear, I haven't looked at all this in-depth. For all I know, he could be completely innocent. I'm only responding to points made in this thread. I admit I've missed large chunks of the conversation here, but none of the arguments defending Cosby that I've read here would help him in court. At all. Which might explain why he's in jail now.
Cosby got convicted on a re-trial. There were so many holes on the defense side and the jury had shady jurors with I believe one of them speaking about convicting Cosby no matter what that has been discussed over and over. They were determined.
Yeah, I could actually believe that. Like I said, he may be innocent. I just haven't read cogent arguments here. That doesn't mean they don't exist.
If you simply replace quaaludes with pot ( it was second only to pot in popularity ) you perhaps would see things differently. It was made to help people sleep but it got banned because it was even better for getting people high. If it was knocking people out so well like it was supposed to do in the first place then why on Earth did it get banned??
You got me here. The only thing I know about quaaludes is what I learned from watching Wolf of Wall Street lol
Pound Me Too says we must believe all women. Therefore, Jennifer Lawrence denies having sex with Weinstein. So, I guess it never happened. ...lol
Ummm... some of my posts disappeared. That is weird... I made two posts replying to quaz and now they are gone.
No, it’s ok. It was in the nerds lounge. Some didn’t want to have discussions on black male representation in nerd culture and nerd focused films. Although it pertains to the subject, some just want to post about nerd stuff and leave out any mention of race, gender, and interracial representation. It is what it is.
I understand not wanting things not getting derailed because some people do go on and on. lol. But this is interracial site for black men and white women it should be okay to mention and discuss about interracial representation in all forums. Just as long as things don't get derailed.
LOL yah sure....we derail shit on here allllllllll the time!! That's often when the best discussions get going.
That’s exactly the point. Some people question the story of every single actress coming out with her story, but the real point is, why should there even be a a system putting a woman in the position of having to decide between “agreeing “ to sex for a job or burying her career? That’s what needs to be shaken up.
