That's the thing. It's all about the money. #MeToo and #TimesUp has had MILLIONS of dollars donated to them. They're multi-million dollar organizations now. They are no longer movements they are now businesses. Think about that.

But what or who exactly is getting most of that money.

Depending on what was said to her, if they really did write her out because she complained, then her payout is justified. You should be able to complain, without retaliation. about being sexually harassed.

However, if what was said to her was just good natured banter that no other woman on set had any problem with, then they should have written her out of the show. No one wants to work with someone who is offended.

None of this will change because men don't fight it. I understand why, though. No one wants to risk losing their livelihood.

Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein bragged about sleeping with Jennifer Lawrence to a woman that he allegedly sexually abused for years, according to the woman’s new lawsuit.

In the suit filed anonymously by a Jane Doe in L.A. county the woman claims that Weinstein performed oral sex on her against her will and as she was sobbing he told her, “I slept with Jennifer Lawrence and look where she is; she has just won an Oscar,” TMZ reported.

She says that she met Weinstein at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and the pair had a meeting at the Waldorf Astoria in Park City.

She got up to go to the bathroom and he walked in on her with her pants tights down while she was using the toilet.

The court papers say he then dropped his pants, took out his penis and said, “My d–k is nice and hard for you” adding, “Do you like my d–k?,” according to the report.

Though she says in the suit she protested, he masturbated and then ejaculated on her skirt, the report says.

The woman alleges similar incidents occurred through 2015.

“My heart breaks for all the women who were victimized by Harvey Weinstein,” a rep for Lawrence told Page Six in a statement on Friday night. “I have never had anything but a professional relationship with him. This is yet another example of the predatory tactics and lies that he engaged in to lure countless women.”

A spokesperson for Weinstein said the lawsuit was “meant to embarrass Mr. Weinstein and garner unchecked media attention.”

“There is absolutely no truth to the malicious claims made in this lawsuit, and we are reviewing our options with an eye on filing for an immediate dismissal,” the spokesperson added.

I've pointed out before they're are multiple big name actresses who are rumored to have been on Harvey Weinstein's casting couch, who have yet to ever accuse him or admit to it publicly despite all the #MeToo hysteria. I guess this story exposes Jennifer Lawrence as 1 of them.

Jennifer Lawrence strikes me as the type that don't give a a fuck. Woman showed up to the Oscar SHOW with a bottle in hand stepping over seats hiking her dress dangerously all the way up. She hit back at some of these metoo people for something earlier this year I can't remember. So she could just be playing for mob to make sure THEY don't try to ruin her career. But that still a sleazeball move on his behalf. Obviously nothing criminal about giving roles to people in exchange for sex but still eww! lol.

But hey that got Cosby so I doubt these feminist care about any famous white man not doing time in jail they're just putting up this front. Black men go to jail white men don't and they're totally fine with that.

I think one of the reasons the criminal charges for Weinstein haven't avalanched on him like they did for Cosby, is because in a trial Weinstein's attorneys can suponea actresses and force them under penalty of perjury to tell the truth about their interactions with him. If people start finding out that actresses knowingly and willingly had sex with him to boost their careers the MeToo movement will implode and it will take several high profile careers with it.

Why would that cause the movement to implode? Even if some actresses traded sex for work (which some surely have), that doesn't mean tons of men haven't abused their power.

No one is claiming that some people won't do *anything* to get ahead. The point is that those with power should only ever used it fairly and responsibly.

The Metoo movement's bread and butter is to perpetuate the narrative that all the women were helpless victims, if the truth came out that A-list actresses willingly whored themselves out, the backbone of the movement would be gone, and the squeaky-clean actresses who knew Weinstein was a predator will have to face culpability for their part in enabling him.

Look at it like this, if you get carjacked while driving through the hood, everybody feels sorry for you, but if they found out you were only there to pick up your re-up of dope your sympathy would evaporate.

If that's the movement's bread and butter, then the movement is tragically flawed. But whether the "victims" are flawless or not is immaterial. The predators in power were always wrong to abuse their power.

Look at your carjacking example. Even if you were in the neighborhood for a shady reason, carjacking is still wrong and shouldn't be tolerated by society.

You just said it yourself. Giving someone drugs without their notice and consent is drugging them. It doesn't have to be roofies to be wrong and illegal. The point is that it impaired the ability to consent.
