You see, even you would take someone who isn’t completely your type provided the other things fit.:p

Actually, I was referring to hypergamists. males can be hypergamists as well (this has been known to happen in the lgbtq community as well). Do not put words in my mouth, please and thank you.

You can debunk theories. Which it is a theory, that has been debunked.

Relax. I think one can have a misunderstanding, clarify it and move on. Such things happen. What you said sounded different to me in the context of what Loki had said about his marriage. You clarified what you meant, that’s it. I do not have any issue with you.

I can live without arguments especially when it comes to making money.
Actually I was just making a point. I would rather be single for life than to suffer either.

Are you familiar with the enneagram?

No, but I have checked on it now.

Typologies have been around for a very long time,i.e. Empedokles and the four elements.
And Ayurvedic typology (Kapha, Pitta, Vata). MBTI is obviously a lot more complex and refined, so it’s more useful.

I don't think they conflict. Mbti is more about cognition while the eneagram is more about motivation and your governing emotion. Two different areas of insight.

    No they don’t conflict.
Finding the right job is difficult. Lots of people seem to go to work to make trouble.

I actually don't understand the shit storm this caused, it just was girl talk. A bit tough in the face, but nothing really scandalous. I have heard/read black men say something absolutely worse about white women or women of any race for that matter.

I think we (Europeans) might not be as sensitive concerning some issues because we haven’t been living and been brought up in a racially tense environment. However this one doesn’t sound good to my ears. Like I said before „acting“ black is the worst way to say what she wanted. Just say „act street“ or something like that. And I also think we don’t need to do something just because men do it worse, right? We don’t need to beat them at their own games.

I imagine it's worse here in the states because being human is second to your job or position here. People bring their broken pysche to places where it doesn't belong. I'm done with corporate america, no reason to go back to a job unless it's something with a real opportunity like working in Europe. Another thing is that no American company can guarantee that they can keep me in south florida. I'm not relocating somewhere else in the states for them, not worth it.

I'm willing to bet 90% percent of the people that you're referring too are SJ's. They are the only people that don't know how to exist outside of a job. They also put stock in the trivial things that most people don't care about. They are the text book examples of people who make simple things far more complicated than they are.

Not all of them are quite that way of course.

They can be difficult but we also need them. They are good at all the stuff I’m not interested in. Just that they should leave me in peace.

See your point, they could have reframed it, they were clumsy.

I have told you I have a suggestion, but I haven’t heard from you so I am assuming you are planning to enjoy South Florida for good;). Don’t blame you, it’s fantastic.
Europe has more employee-friendly working conditions in some ways, but you still have to be the corporate-type to enjoy the corporate working-life. I tried it, I wish I were, but unfortunately most of that stuff is meaningless to me.
