That's been the majority of white entertainers that dabble in black entertainment overall. They just want to leech off the popularity of it make it white and make money from it. See examples like Pink who started off with R&B type sound and even had some black cultural swag in her videos from her debut album then once she made it took off the mask. Very few white rnb and Hip hop artist are actually real.

But what do you mean about Cabello saying greasy shit about black people? Can you clue me in?

Ariana Grande is pop music. I think the OP means a white chick truly singing r&b, he mentioned Teena Marie for example

She and that Sabrina white Cuban singer had troll twitter accounts where they were talking shit on black people, calling black women changos(monkeys). Then Sabrina got the nerve to get her ass on stage at the music awards talking about "Dreamers" built this country. 1. We know who she means by Dreamers and 2. Those Dreamers didnt build a god damn thing. Now that Trump wants to throw her and her folks out, she wanna be woke and needs black folks to put on the capes. Shes just another opportunistic latino.

A couple brothers who are singers called one of them out on her shit but negroes are still gonna work with her.

Was Christina Aguilera counted? Her hit songs were soulful.
Kelly Clarkson also has some successful R&B tracks.

Ariana Grande's music is a mix of Pop & R&B. No different than what Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Rihanna, Ciara, & etc. do.

    https://nypost.com/2002/10/23/aguilera-likes-flava-guys/

“I want the boys with the ‘flava!’ He’s got to have some flava and edge to him,” the pop tart tells the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone.

Christina – who appears topless on the cover of her new album “Stripped” – also blasts actress Jennifer Love Hewitt for her penchant for Caucasian men.

“She wants a bunch of white boys I don’t want . . . I would scare the s- – – out of her if she came to one of my sleepovers,” she says.

And ever since then that's all she's been with. lol. Maybe she should've said black men that would've sounded more believable. I remember when that came out people actually felt for it too. But she was playing to the audience she was getting with her music... she wasn't being real.

That was her in her young ratchet stage. She is the whitest of white Hispanics. She knew damn well she wasnt gonna full on date a brother. She probably got smutted out during her Redman Dirty days by brothers then snagged a white dude.

Bitch said "flava". *dead* seeing how she used to dress is actually cringeworthy.

That's why you have to stay aware. I don't care how "black" they act. Because it is VERY possibly just that. An Act.

As in most cases, don't listen to what they say; watch what they do.

doing the lawn service, loading fruit baskets and maid service ....is not "building" this country. don't get me wrong, latinos had to go through hardship....but to claim" built"
this country is ridiculous. how about 400 years of free labor .but latinos often just get on tv and repeat what they heard somewhere.

I was tempted to cite Kelly Clarkson but she's a pop singer too

I don't guess there are any modern white r&b women except Adele and Amy but then again you can argue there's no more r&b period by anybody. But then what do you call Tank or Trey Songz?

    And "flava" means?

Flava=flavor. It's just code word for black people. We're seen as having the most swagger, seen as the coolest, seen as trendsetters, etc. She wanted black dick and wanted to slum with black folks in her younger years and she was taking a jab at Jennifer Love Hewitt for "playing it safe" by dating white guys.
