Sony is pretty desperate to make a Spidey-movieverse without Spidey. Remember they were going to do the Sinister Six? Now they're doing Morbius The Living Vampire. As for Venom, I was never a fan. Meh
Officially starts the 19th but I think today was some kind of "Preview Night" before official opening tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to Venom, the guilty pleasure of shark feature The Meg, and J.J. Abrams' 0verlord.
This has the feel of one of those contemporary Guy Ritchie updates ala Sherlock Holmes and Arthur, Legend of the Sword.
Incredible amazing and mind-blowing cinema!! If you haven't seen this film then go now!! You will NOT be disappointed!! I can personally guarantee that I will definitely see this again at the theater.
James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez have dropped a new trailer for their cyberpunk thriller Alita: Battle Angel today. Based on the manga series by Yukito Kishiro, the film tells the story of Alita, an amnesiac cyborg on the run in a dystopian future city. Here's the new trailer:
Did they move the date up? I could've swore I thought this was coming out this year. Also in the anime version Chiren (played by Jennifer Connelly) is Vector's(played by Mahershala Ali) mistress. Not sure if they'll use that for the movie version.
Battle Angel was originally slated for release this month, but the studio rescheduled it for the 21st of December 2018, no doubt due to production woes.
I've never been fond of the creepy alien symbiote, but, If you are, this trailer will be right up your alley.
