The TRANSGENDER community take offense to your comment for your lack of inclusivity of them.

That tweet was a retweet from Roseanne herself, who we know doesn't check shit before she posts it.
    Doesn't matter anyway.

As someone who's so skeptical of MSM, how can you now hide behind the credibility of the media??lol

Just admit you made a mistake.

That ICE retweet by Shaun King may not be current, but I haven't seen anyone deny those were children detained at the border being held in cages.

If you think we're treating illegal immigrant kids detained at the border who we've separated from their parents, you really need to wake up.

The social media disinformation may not all be coming from the Right, but we do know the Russians flooded Twitter and FB with millions of pro Trump and anti-Hillary fake news messages.

You gotta look at EVERYTHING on social media with a side eye because it's worse now than in 2016.

This debate is very strange. Players want to protest but don't want to suffer the consequences of protesting. Ali lost the prime years of his career because he took a principled stand for what he believed. The idea that players want to be given the right to protest in the course of the work is absurd. The NFL isn't attempting to squash their rights to speak on their own time; rather, they are creating rules for behavior during their revenue generating events. If player want to protest, they should... and then suffer the consequence of their choice to do so. That takes courage and commitment and is admirable. This protest while on the clock is bunk.

    You're right!

Rephrase: Is he a trans gay character--because that way--she can check three inclusivity boxes as well.

This is all about the $ as is everything business related. From a legal perspective the NFL is well within their rights to define what behaviors are appropriate or not appropriate during work hours, that is why they have to track everything work related, from travel, meal times, film session, games, practices, team related activities, ect. Thus its not a restriction of their first amendment rights, they can say or do anything they like (although even then the team can decide to get rid of them for off the clock actions if they feel it is detrimental to the team) when not on the team's time.

The way I see it, raising awareness is just a first step, there are plenty already doing that, in my personal life I choose to take the additional steps of tangible acts to help fight the injustices, not just the raising of awareness that kneeling, or retweeting, or wearing a T-shirt slogan ect. Which is why I give Kapernick credit for going beyond just kneeling and putting substantial $ and time into finding solutions, I think that too often gets lost in this discussion.

I always found Roseanne to be crass, loud, uncouth, slothful, base, glutinous, and just having no class at all. It says a lot about our society that her sitcom was so popular.

Your insinuation is out of touch with society - her sitcom said no such thing. It was a very cool comedy show of a regular worling-class family life mixed with social issues It/She was ahead of her time as a mama-bear. You know, like Cosby's show was.

Yep. And to top it all off they are both mind-bogglingly self destructive.

I think she's angry because they have heard her say racist things before and instead of putting her in check they just laughed. Now that she torpedoed the show, they are using damage control for themselves while "throwing her under the bus."

Like they say Karma is a bitch.

    Nope. She's active as hell.

Do you blame her, though...a lifetime of fighting for the underdog, and she's never disparaged Black people...

Curious..did you know Valerie was Black?
I didn't know up close what she looked like but l just assumed she was because she was best friends with the Obamas and they don't have close White friends in their circle. At least the one that's from Chicago politics days, which Valerie is from. She was/is also a powerful influence in their lives.

I assumed she was though I would not be surprised if she had quite a bit of European ancestry.

Yeah, but they are opening a can of worms with that. People are now coming out telling horrible stories of sude effects on Ambien.

I personally know someone whose behavior completely changes when they take this - literally before my eyes. And the shit that they post they don't remember a thing. They sometimes become violent, even homicidal in their speech to the point where we have hidden a gun from them.... and I'm telling you this is not like alcoholi/ drunks where it magnifies "Who You Are" it literally causes some users to blackout and behave and say and do things they don't normally do. It's also extremely addictive.

To their tweet the question is: did she know Valerie was a black woman? If she didn't, then Ambien have a lot to answer for in terms of behavioral side effect. You should read the list. It's scary.

Facts. Keep in mind ABC is owned by family-friendly Disney.

On the other hand, look at the Avengers, also Disney. They act like damn near superheroes even in real-life. Talk shows, charities, joking around in interviews, helping people, no scandal or drama. They probably have a morals clause in their contracts, esp Downey who's an ex-druggie. Those guys are upholding the image of their place of work
