Their stories didn't "fall apart". Did you even read his deposition? Go to the Cosby thread, have fun.
Bill Cosby raped me. Why did it take 30 years for people to believe my story? Only when a male comedian called Cosby a rapist did the accusation take hold. https://www.washingtonpost.com/post...-story/?sw_bypass=true&utm_term=.b72528679bf2
Tamara Green. In February of 2005, Green, a retired trial attorney, appeared on The Today Show and told Matt Lauer that Cosby had drugged and assaulted her in the '70s. Beth Ferrier. In June 2005, Ferrier, 46 at the time, told the Philadelphia Daily News that Cosby drugged her coffee when she visited him before a performance in Denver when she was 25. Ferrier, who worked as a model, had been in a consensual relationship with Cosby that ended before the alleged assault;
Darren Sharper's Rape Spree Shows Why Athletes Get Away With Crimes A damning investigative report shows how police and prosecutors repeatedly failed to end ex-NFL player Darren Sharper's serial violence against women. https://sports.vice.com/en_us/artic...spree-shows-why-athletes-get-away-with-crimes "Sharper's rampage of druggings and rapes could have been prevented," argue four reporters from ProPublica, Sports Illustrated, and the New Orleans Advocate in a new, powerful piece about retired NFL safety Darren Sharper, who was charged with the rape, attempted rape, and drugging of nine women in four different states (Arizona, Nevada, California, and Louisiana) between February 2013 and January 2014. Last month, Sharper reached a global plea deal in all of the cases, meaning he admitted his guilt in exchange for being able to serve all of his sentences concurrently instead of one after the other. Also, he avoided a trial..."
They never investigated him. They weren't believed. He was free to continue to rape and rape and drug and rape some more, across four States. Just like your boy, Pill.

After wading through the 63 reports from this train wreck of a thread, we're finally caught up. We're going to reopen the thread, but please keep the site guidelines and a few other things in mind: Avoid personal attacks. People can disagree without name calling, bashing, or otherwise disrespecting one another. Do your best to treat each other as you would want to be treated. No negative discussion primarily directed towards genders/ethnicities/etc. outside of the realm and context of this site. That includes racist/racial, misogynist, misandrist, and homophobic comments/discussion. Remember this is a site for and about Black Men AND White Women; neither gender/race takes precedence over the other, and everyone needs to understand and respect that. Try to stay on topic; politics and arguments and personal e-beefs don't need to pollute every single thread on the board. There's also no reason for every discussion to turn into an argument; folks can disagree without fighting with one another or being disrespectful. If the thread doesn't stay on track and members don't behave themselves in a civilized manner, either the problem posters will no longer be allowed to post in the thread or the thread will be shut down altogether. Continue reporting any problems that need to be addressed. Please & thank you.
Russell Simmons is stepping down from his various companies after he got accused of sexual assault again by screenwriter Jenny Lumet http://variety.com/2017/film/news/russell-simmons-jenny-lumet-sexual-assault-allegation-1202626935/ Russell Simmons Steps Down From Companies Following Sexual Assault Allegation By Brent Lang November 30, 2017 6:40AM PT Russell Simmons is stepping down from his companies after being accused of sexual assault by writer Jenny Lumet. In a guest column in the Hollywood Reporter, Lumet accuses the Def Jam co-founder of forcing her to have sex in 1991. In a statement, Simmons said he had a different recollection of their encounter, but said Lumet’s “feelings of fear and intimidation are real.” He apologized to Lumet, who is the daughter of director Sidney Lumet and the screenwriter behind “Rachel Getting Married.” “There is so much guilt, and so much shame,” Lumet wrote in her column. “There is an excruciating internal reckoning. As a woman of color, I cannot express how wrenching it is to write this about a successful man of color. Again, shame about who I was years ago, choices made years ago. In this very moment, I feel a pang to protect your daughters. I don’t think you are inclined to protect mine.” For his part, Simmons said, “While I have never been violent, I have been thoughtless and insensitive in some of my relationships over many decades and I sincerely and humbly apologize.” In addition to his music work, Simmons is a successful film and television producer and the founder of such clothing fashion lines as Phat Farm and Tantris. This isn’t the first time he has been accused of harassment or assault. Earlier this month, model Keri Claussen Khalighi accused Simmons of forcing her to have sex. She said the businessman worked in conjunction with director Brett Ratner to lure her to his apartment. Another woman, Tanya Reid, also accused Simmons of pressuring her to perform oral sex on Ratner. Both men deny the allegations. Simmons did say the culture is going through “a time of great transition,” and said he did not want to be a distraction from the work of his companies. He also plans to convert a studio he founded for yogic science into a not-for-profit center of learning and healing. “The companies will now be run by a new and diverse generation of extraordinary executives who are moving the culture and consciousness forward,” said Simmons, adding, “As for me, I will step aside and commit myself to continuing my personal growth, spiritual learning, and, above all, to listening.” Simmons is the latest high profile figure to become engulfed in a sexual harassment or assault scandal. In recent weeks, Kevin Spacey, Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer, Charlie Rose, and John Lasseter have all been dogged by claims of sexual misdeeds or crimes.
One of the unforeseen problems that are going to arise from this situation, is that a lot of future male employers are going to be super reluctant to hire women. Part of the blame is because the media is so damn lazy and reckless with the way they are lumping every case together (from dirty jokes to rape) without giving them any context. So if I'm a potential employer I might just want to avoid having to navigate that problem altogether.
Not to mention the misandry that is blindly going on. But it's also once the ones lying get exposed will go back to where women are again afraid to come out. This is being VERY mishandled by the celebs and journalist in the media.
I have already had clients/friends of mine who are business owners reach out to me in light of recent events, to see what legalities they might face if they started to favor more men and limit the amount of women in their workplaces. Discrimination based on gender is illegal nationwide and rightfully so, that being said, business owners are focused on profit and the bottom line, and limiting their risk/exposure, so I agree that a very unfortunate and illegal backlash against women will be the reality going forward.
Women graduate college at a higher rate than men and get more advanced degrees than men. Maybe employers will just shy away from hiring MEN.
