Amid a rancorous debate over whether the Trump administration has downplayed the threat posed by white supremacist groups, the FBI’s counterterrorism division has declared that black identity extremists pose a growing threat of premeditated violence against law enforcement.

In August, the FBI’s counterterrorism division published a report warning law enforcement across the country of a new threat. It called the threat “Black Identity Extremism.”

In reality, there is no “Black Identity Extremist” movement, at least not one that goes by that name. It appears to be an invented label, Foreign Policy reported. The publication revealed the existence of the counterterrorism memo Friday and briefly posted the actual document on its website before removing it.

According to the FBI, “it is very likely some BIEs are influenced by a mix of anti-authoritarian, Moorish sovereign citizen ideology, and BIE ideology.”

 

So now that is clear:

Brown = Islamic Extremist
Black = Black Identity Extremist
White = Hard To Identify

 

This is such BS! It actually pisses me off! The vast majority of mass shooters are WHITE MEN, and yet we never look at what is fucked up about that group, why they are so violent and messed up. Instead we have to look for tiny percent of muslims that are problems, or black men, or latino, or watever. This makes me so sick

 

Yes, we had a tragedy in Norway some years ago involving a white bloke and almost 100 dead children.

 

And their race is NEVER brought up in these ways ours and other non-white men are. Which just goes to show you that white supremacist are running the show. The justice system, The government, the political system, majority of corporations, education system, the corporate media, entertainment industry, owned by white supremacist that will NEVER identify white men as a danger, threat and the problem with society.

Bet this was directed by the POTUS and the Attorney General to downplay the real threat of White nationalist extremism and separatist militia movements.

Just another attempt by the FBI to turn BLM into the 1960s' Black Panthers, who really weren't a violent threat to law enforcement either.

Basically if you're Black and complain about police brutality against Black folk, if a cop gets shot a week later, BIE is responsible.

True indeed. White supremacists have infiltrated every level of law enforcement across the country. We have a White supremacist in the WH.
It's really not that hard to believe we have high level FBI agents who secretly are White supremacists too and feel comfortable sharing their beliefs.

The problem is this BIE theory is just that, a (bad)theory. I seriously doubt there's anything more than a handful of cases to support the FBI's claim.

What really bothers me is the FBI is labeling Black protestors of police violence and brutality against Black folk as some kind of extremist group and responsible for violence against police officers, instead of police brutality itself and its lack of prosecution being responsible for violence against police officers.

Same shit the FBI tried to do when they blamed MLK's activism for riots and violence across the country.

 

This reminds me of when Fox News (specifically Megyn Kelly) was trying their best to stir up white fear by proclaiming that the "New Black Panther Party" was an imminent threat to America (i.e. white people) Because two guys dressed in black paramilitary clothes, stood outside of a polling place in 2008.
