I may had to wait. I have Spectrum cable so a long DVD wait begins.

 

I remember that scene. The movie was shown on HBO back in the early 80's.

Maybe Redtails. One of the guys was dating a French or Italian woman. Though they never or rarely show them from what I remember.

 

^^ You misremember "Redtails" because there are sbvious kissing scenes and one sexual aftermath scene as well

 

In Redtails one of the Tuskegee Airmen was involved with a Italian woman.

 

Nah cuz it's been years since I've seen the movie.

 

The Italian woman was played by Daniela Ruah. She is best known for her role as Kensi Blye on NCIS: Los Angeles.

She is not Italian but Portuguese.

 

I learn something everyday. I wonder why there were no subtitles when she spoke Italian?

 

I enjoyed that flick.

 

Vice put out this short film "Mr. Happy" a couple years ago starring Chance the Rapper:

 

That was tough to watch. Pretty good though.

I remember my dad telling me about him when I was doing a book report about the Three Musketeers in High School, years later I found out more about him myself.



He married a white woman named Marie-Louise Élisabeth Labouret.

 

I know Mr.Dumas wrote the book but I did not know the subject was Black.
