While l agree most are arrested and/convicted, it has happened before..Google Tevin Elliott and you will see that Baylor settled with a student who in 2012 reported him having raped her and she was Ignored. He was then later sentenced to 20 years in prison for raping another woman the following year.

"...Baylor knew Elliott had a history of assaults, they failed to protect her and others who were attacked, and ignored her pleas when she sought help."

And further..
A report by ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” featured several women who said they were assaulted by Elliott. According to the report, the school failed to investigate, or properly investigate, several allegations of sexual assault.

So no further information leaves pure conjecture.

I don't consider myself a Leftist, but I am sympathetic to the DSA's movement (I'm Center-Left or a left-leaning moderate/centrist on economic/fiscal issues). Public schools are a socialist program. So are the police, the fire department and our roads and highways.
