A much better way to ensure your safety would be to take your own vehicle. Or even better, have a friend give you a ride. Not only do you have at least one other person who knows exactly where you are, they also know the exact time that they last saw you in person. Arrange to have the date be at only that location, and let him know that you got a ride there and you can't be out all night.

Hell, even get there early so your friend can see him; that way he/she has a description to go with the name. There are so many ways to go about keeping yourself safe (and being subtle about) without basically telling your date that you think he's a criminal.

That's exactly why TV shows blur out license plates. With the right resources you can find out someone's full name, address, phone number, and a lot of other information just based off of that plate number. And who the fuck is she sending that plate number to, anyway? That guy probably has no idea who her friends are or what they plan on doing with that information.

If she asks him and he agrees to do it then that's fine. But to just snap a pic of his plate and text to some unknown person without asking him first? Yeah, I would have left her standing there too.

How dare men want respect for their safety. I forgot every last one of us is a predator and deserve to pay for the sins of other men.

Stop being an ass. No one said anything like that. I said several times that men need to be cautious too.

    Agreed.

I got news for you though...it takes a lot less than a plate to track someone's info down.

Oh, I know that. It's still no reason to just snap a pic of someone's plate without their knowledge, though.

So dads get a pass, but not women?

I don't get the point of them doing it without their knowledge. If it's like that, don't go with them.

If you don't feel safe enough to get in a car then don't get in. I would have done the same thing as that man. It shows lack of trust. It also shows what kind of person you are and who you hang around with. aka dangerous people

Safe Schools usually don't have metal detectors.....
