Young, I might lose my mind if I keep having to hear this bullshit argument about BW are loyal because they date/marry IR less than BM. First of all, most BM (like over 87%) have kids with & marry BW. That includes BM of all socialeconomic classes (Poor, working class, middle class, well-off, rich/wealthy, & celebrity/athletes BM). You'd NEVER know that based how much BW & black celebrity gossip sites focus on BM in IR. Why don't BW & black celebrity gossip sites focus on the BM celebrities/athletes who are actually with BW (Which is the overwhelmingly majority) if BM in IR upsets them so much? Because a lot of BW are either swirlers/undercover swirlers/wannabe swirlers/ex-swirlers/failed swirlers (Look how much damn books, online media, seminars, & etc. are dedicated to BW swirling. It's insane!) and are jealous AF that non-BW are much more willing to have serious relationships/marry/have kids with BM than non-bm are with BW. That is real reason for the stats about BM marrying IR twice as much as BW, it don't have shit to do with BW being more loyal as they have simp niggas believing.
I hear you. I belong to the Afropunk FB page. And, it's the same shit. I got called trash for disagreeing with Umar's stance on IR relationships. BW are so fucking petty right now. And, because black society is ever increasingly shaped by BW, our people, both men and wonen, are being distracted by petty bullshit and losing sight of the goal. But, hey, fuck it. White girls can't wear cornrows anymore. And, that's what's important.
Perfectly well said. You should have a blog can. It feels way more like jealousy because I don't see them taking bw to task the way other bm do to bm.
It's sad because I gotta give credit to bw to being such a driving force behind black lives matter but some of this illogical emotion driven nonsense is what gives women a bad name period. I would love it if someone could tell me in a paragraph what these particular complainers want. I know it's not even most black women doing this shit but like all matters of justice the loud assholes have the floor. And for all their complaining it's weird that they hate IR since those very relationships produce men they swoon over. Men on some instinctive level seem to get this which is why I rarely if ever see men complain about it unless lead by the angry bw coalition. Funny thing is I was never the kind of black man these women even looked at twice when I was younger. I am very dark skinned not tall (most men under 6'2 don't exist in their world), nerdy af, and "talked white". It's only now that my circumstances are desirable (not me since I'm still all the things above) does who I date come into question. Seems like they want slaves who are loyal to them but not too loyal because that's thirsty smh.
Soo telling that there is no such term. From Black men. Most Black men are of the ilk, 'There's enough pussy to go around. Get yours.'
Ummm....bruh....you need to get out more. There are black dudes out there like that. They're called Hoteps. Or The Ankh Right. Trust, they are out there.
I just wanna know, when did "Becky" become a diss or negative term? It used to just be another slang term for white girl or WW like "Snowbunny" or "PAWG". Was it the Beyonce/Lemonade line about about "Becky with the good hair"? What term from BM?
Yep, at Hoteps. Didn't know there is such a thing as the Ankh Right? I guess they're the symbol's version of Egyptian 'Conservatives" ?
No..they want to pro-create with them, but are frought with sexist and homophobic beliefs. They believe in a ( Black) Patriarchal hierarchy.
Ankh-Right is just some bullshit term that Shea Butter/Black Liberal Twitter made up earlier this year to compare Pro-black/Hoteps to the Alt-Right. I only see Shea Butters using that term.
I have wondered about the same thing, I don't like the term, we (WW) have not deserved it. And what is it with the hair envy anyway?
My recollection it started when that rapper plies used as a sexual reference and because he had a white girl in that video for the song "becky", folks mainly black men started associating it with white women. Which probably didn't rub bw the right way. It started being a ANGRY negative racial term when bw started using it. Then beyonce used it and you know she has A LOT of these pro black women and men, ect. that are fans of hers so it became even more popular to call white women that even though it was suggested that Jay-Z may have cheated with a black or mixed chick.
What are y'all talking about Becky has been a term for white girls since baby got back. Check the records lol
Well as far as hair is concerned it's a huge deal when you don't have any. It's the biggest market of femininity above even boobs and ass. So when you are part of group who doesn't grow "good hair" naturally there's an issue because it strips you of your femininity. Couple that with dark skin which is looked at as a marker of masculinity black women are stuck in a perpetual fight of having to scream to be noticed as the very thing they are born as.
But black women do have hair, and many have much of it too, it is their own decision to cut it down looking like cancer patients and wear a weave instead. Their hair looks like shit because they abuse it (yes, I know this is easy for me to say since I am blessed with thick shiny straight hair, but the point still stand)
Then you don't know enough black women or don't listen when many speak because that's not true. Yes some do have lots of hair but when permed and straightened that shit breaks. I think it's because your circumstance is different is why you can't see it. You think all these women would be going through 8 hours at the salon on the regular for fun? You re part of the wash and go crowd.
