Serena has had to deal with so much shit just for being a black female in sport dominated by whites.

If this was a black male athlete who had an equivalent personal and professional history like Serena, black America wouldn't be all that sympathetic because of the very fact of who he had dated and married. They would say he turned his back on black folks by dating all those white girls and marrying one so why should they care that he is facing racism directed at him? So that will be my attitude towards Serena. It's a shame she has to deal with that shit I guess but I can't really bring myself to care. She' has been dealing with blatant hatred and racism since she stepped into the limelight but that hasn't stopped her from slurping the men from the same community that has been the origin of that bigotry.
