What physical abilities did this character envy of black people? I'll wait.

So grandma wanted a big black dick you say? What was the physical black appropriation here that couldn't be achieved with other races?

Look your comment was plain ignorant and you know it. As if whites don't envy Latinos hair, bodies, dancing, or skills on the soccer field.

Asians Asian facial features, their grace in the dojo, ice rink, and gymnastics floor.

Nope Asians and Latinos do not have a unique experience thru their eyes living in America according to you either.

I couldn't name you a single in demand male porn stars. Go ahead and name them. I haven't watched cuckold porn before so you got me in that area.

    *SIGH*

It wasn't merely about the sexual aspects, but the overall physical attributes contributed to black people. Our greater physical athleticism compared to other races as well as the fabled "black don't crack" /we age better than white people. That's the reason they were ONLY USING BLACK PEOPLE. They sure as hell wasn't using other white people or other races. Wonder why???

Again, do you even know or associate with other black folks outside this forum to not even catch any of that??? All well and good if you didn't like the movie but damn. Seriously???? SMDH.

Don't turn into good love man. All that shit you just said is irrelevant to why this movie couldn't work with other races.

The blind guy wanted to experience being black thru Chris's eyes for artistic purposes and the grandma being a black woman was never explained. You the viewer are only assuming she wanted to be black because "black don't crack".

Maybe I'm wrong about Grandma but I cannot remember the TV scene distinctively when the families motives were revealed. I'll have to rewatch some time.

Son....you're the one who came at me on some ol' angry dude bro "your ignorant and racist" bullshit rant for simply pointing out how this movie wouldn't play out in the same manner with different race
protagonist & body snatch victims. But I'm the one turning into Goodlove? Yeah.....okay.....

Being a murderer is black and white, being a so called racist is not.

The second part of your post I already addressed in my initial post

Sorry bro, if both of your parents highly stressed that you will be disowned and cut off from the family for dating white women, you would still of went against their wishes whereas other races would obey their parents wishes for the most part.

Middle class and up Nigerians are the only blacks in my experience who put their family before themselves no matter what. Parents say you gonna be a doctor, lawyer, engineer, that's what the fuck you going be no matter how much you hate it. Parents say don't date a certain type of person, they listen no matter how much they feeling someone else.

You need to get out more fam. I am an immigrant kid who's engaged to another immigrant kid who has advanced degrees just like her brother and both ended up with people outside the culture. Along with a lot of their friends. Generally you're right but not absolutely

That's great seriously and I'm genuinely happy for yall but that has nothing to do with my original point being that black men in general don't have a true grasp of how hard it is for other races to go against they family wishes. Unless you are leaving something out, y'all family was not making it a absolute no no to date black men or white women or being shut out of the family.

I've dated 3 white women who grew up in families like this. You telling me they are racist all because for a great while they respected their fathers orders not to date black guys even tho they never demeaned, belittled, dehumanized, or deprived black men? Come on now, everybody knows not to bite the hand that feeds you.

Blacks in general are used to persevering in adversity, blacks deal with bullshit since day pne growing a thick backbone quicker than others so it's real easy for you to call out a white woman "racist" if she doesn't date black guys even tho she does indeed have a interest in them because you are used living to your own desires.

With that said, Rose was not a racist but just a psychopath lunatic and maybe murderer.

Well to your point in Jamaican culture it's frowned upon to date anyone who isn't Caribbean especially African Americans (totally messed up I know). For guys we do whatever we want there might be teasing but that's really it. I know if my sister or cousins brought home a non Jamaican man that shit wouldn't be pretty. But that's how it is in most cultures, women are responsible for carrying the culture. However in this country unless you're a recent immigrant white people dont have a culture to preserve, no common bond beyond skin and even that shit is tentative. Upon further thought about the Rose character calling her racist is tough because she didn't see black people as inferior she saw them as prey. So I might be swayed on that notion

    Great premise. Weak ending.

Based on what I had read about it all over the internet, I thought it might be some cautionary tale.

Seemed more like an expansion of one of Jordan Peele's quirky dark humor skits.

That makes more sense than a "cautionary tale" because Peele is married to a ww & has a white mom.

Scary premise though. Lots of potential. Could've been handled better...

Luckily, we aren’t the kind of black men that value those kinds of opinions.

I was particularly disappointed about this:
...They guy's white girlfriend was in on the plot against him, and had done the same to other black guys.

"White girl can't be trusted" = Classic anti-ww/bm stereotype.

Would've been better if she was on his side & helped save him.

If it were a white guy with a black woman, I doubt any movie would paint him as an insidious bad guy like that.

"White girl can't be trusted", but white guy can -- he'll even save you from "Bigger Long". ;)
