He is directing the new fast and furious with Charlize Theron in it. He has some good movies.
Law abiding Citizen was his best film ( I liked anyway.)

Black folk have been forced to play pimps, hoes, drug dealers, gang bangers, inmates, tragic ghetto characters, cheats, cowards and White man sidekicks forever, and when one movie basically satirizes race relations in America, the sensitive snowflakes can't handle it.

Thank goodness it seems like most White folk got the joke.

 

Those people are idiots. They probably knew the movie would upset their pea-brains but they went to see it anyway so that they'd have something to angry-rant about on IMDb and Facebook and so on.

 

The movie is a great depiction of how many white people treat black culture and people as a fetish. It is also a great depiction of white women who sleep with/date or marry black men, yet are still completely racist and treat black men as a fetish. I really enjoyed the film and it has a great message.

I think the only people who are offended by the film or need to derail from the message, are those who are guilty of what I mentioned above.

 

How was she racist? She was a got damn poacher. Y'all give this borderline lackluster ass movie too much credit just because the protagonists skin color.

Best believe if the main character was Mexican or Asian, blacks ( or whites experiencing white guilt) wouldnt be lauding this as a amazing film.

 

The movie wouldn't work the same if the protagonist were Mexican or Asian. What about Mexicans or Asians do White people envy? Can't say its work ethic or smarts because most already think they are top of the food chain when it comes to either of those.

 

I'm assuming you don't have Asian or latino friends in your life because that comment was pretty ignorant, offensive, and racially insensitive as if whites haven't appropriated every other race and culture since the dawn of time.

I agree with you on a lot of subjects. I think this is just one subject where we will disagree.

 

Their was nothing about this character that showed she had a disdain or simply tolerated blacks. Not a single time did she ever treat dude as a fetish either.

Being the lackluster movie it was it never explored how rose was groomed or became who she was so we can only speculate she was racist.

My comment had nothing to do with cultural appropriation but actual physical appropriation as per the movie. White people envy Black people and our "stereotypical" physical abilities.
