NYPD sergeant convicted of twice raping girlfriend's daughter, 13, and forcing her to perform sex act on him at school after taking her to the father/daughter breakfast, gets just THREE years in prison

This story just sickens me to my stomach, l can't even post it in long form.
NY failed this young girl. WTF is wrong with the judge, DA and jury. Five days to deliberate? Really?
    There YEARS.. Really?

It is beyond sickening, but it's not surprising with our fucked up judicial system. Steal something, get 10 years; rape a baby, get 2 or 3. Sadly this type of sentencing for child sex offenders is typical.

He's a vested NYPD cop. Seriously what did you expect??
    The 'blue shield' is REAL.

All of us saw Eric Garner choked to death by a cop on video, and yet an NYC grand jury decided a psycho killer cop was justified in murdering Eric Garner.

His death, they determined, was not intentional. Just an on the job accident. Hey, it happens to the best of us.

SO why the fuck should I be surprised a rapist cop will probably be out of jail in 18 months on probation for raping a 13 year old???

I hope from now on when people compare law enforcement to an organized crime syndicate with legal authority, everyone understands.

What is most haunting about Garner is how they stood around and didn't render aid for 30 minutes, after they saw he become unconcious.
It was like they realized they might have fucked up and to go into emergency mode to save his life would be akin to an admission of guilt that they fucked up. So they pretended to remain calm as if he was fine, knowing full well he was in distress...it was disturbing to watch that.

This cop sentence however is beyond stupifying. He admitted it...why run his sentences concurrently? Why save a dirty rapist's ass? Throw away the damn key, because he will rape again.

Totally disgusting! It burns me up the way some police officers in this country commit horrible crimes and are rarely held accountable, and/or get a slap on the wrist solely because of their occupation.

Here's a few stories on one abduction by a NYPD officer that beyond words. My heart continues to go out to the young victim. If it weren't for the woman who witnessed the attack from her apartment window, and called police... I'm sure he would've gotten away with this crime

If that wasn't bad enough... The jury also did the victim an injustice. Here's some of the NYDN articles:
