What's the reason neither Trump nor anyone from his administration has criticized the CIA hack, or wikileaks releasing of this highly classified, critical intelligence data??

It's beyond bizarre that a sitting U.S. president has not made a public statement condemning wikileaks for contributing to an intelligence breach, or defending the CIA.

Trump is a fool for picking a fight with Langley. They have a black budget totally off the congressional books and operatives who are so ghost not even the POTUS is aware of them.

You really don't want the CIA investigating you ON THEIR OWN and putting together a case for impeachment.

Trump is motivating highly skilled and powerful opponents to find all the dirt he's done while running for president and presenting a legal case wrapped up in a tidy little bow that a Republican led Congress cannot ignore.
Trump supporters can try to downplay Trump's relationship with Russia, but it is what it is.
The CIA and FBI are going to connect ALL the dots until even Faux News won't be able to ignore it.

BTW I would suggest everyone to watch The Rachel Maddow show religiously over the next several months. She IMO is this generations' Woodward and Bernstein and is ahead of the news curve on the Trump debacle.

Bliss, calling everyone who works for the CIA 'professional liars' is just insane.
The CIA's main directive is collecting intelligence and being right about the data they collect.
You may question how that info is collected, or for what purposes it's used for, but to call ALL of our dedicated, career intelligence operatives professional liars is Alex Jones' territory.

Of course someone like Trump wants to discredit the CIA, the first U.S. POTUS to ever do so, because they are the ones who are going to either prove or disprove his relationship with Russia was treason.

Trump has systematically gone on a mission to weaken and destroy all the democratic governmental and public apparatuses responsible for holding the executive branch accountable.
That includes the media, the CIA and totally bypassing Congress to get his legislative agenda passed.

A man who enters presidential office with majorities in both the House and the Senate shouldn't need to rely so heavily on executive orders to get business done.

Do you know what bankruptcy is? It's not simply being late on bills it's an inability to meet your financial obligations and he couldn't do it 6 times. Show me the other successful business people who have done that. Couple that with the fact he won't show his tax returns to show us how great he is at business. Come on bliss I know you're smarter than that.
And all the "debt" Obama created was fixing the mess the last guy left while rescuing the economy you're welcome.
And what chance would you like me to give when the person in question lies as much as he breathes. He is divorced from reality, when someone lies about easily verifiable facts like he had the most electoral college votes since Reagan or that the rain stopped for him while he gave a speech or crime is the worst it's been in 40 years you're not dealing with someone who needs to be given a chance. Bottom line I don't think he ever wanted to be or thought he could be president. This was all a publicity stunt because he loves attention, why else would a newly minted President start holding election rallies six months after being elected?

And nice try but my failed relationships aren't even in the same universe as someone who claims to be a successful businessman hiding tax returns and going bankrupt 6 times. Btw in 6 years I've had three relationship. Is that really abnormal?

Not necessarily directed at you Bliss, but whenever I hear people criticize President Obama on the debt (Sean Hannity LOVES to do this) it makes my blood boil as it is such an unfair criticism, as it paints Obama as some kind of out of control spender when in reality the deficit (first step to controlling the overall debt) FELL over 70% under Obama.

"While the large increase in borrowing occurred "under Obama," it's an overstatement to blame Obama's actions as the sole cause of the ballooning debt, according to the bipartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.

The debt would have risen by $3 trillion because of tax and spending policies that were already in place. Plus, the Great Recession drove up spending on safety net programs, such as Medicaid and food stamps, without the president or Congress doing a thing.

This is not to say that Obama had zero impact on the debt during his two terms in office. His 2009 stimulus plan and his making most of the Bush tax cuts permanent in 2012 contributed to the debt. But the 2011 Budget Control Act, which curbed government spending, helped slow the projected growth in debt.

Also, keep in mind that Obama can't take any financial steps without Congress' approval. And Republicans controlled the House for six years of his term and the Senate for two years."

Is that not just part of politics? In politics I see loyalty and ideology valued more than logic, power valued more than vision, and a lot of desperation to remain relevant.

Can you be a politician and be truly genuine at all times? Or is your ability to be genuine directly related to your position and power. Can you be a successful politician and not have a huge facade?

I honestly don't know the answers to these questions. Politics Is outside the relm of my logical thought process. I just judge politicians mostly on intelligence, accomplishments, honesty, convictions, and vision.

Unlike most spaces of reality, politics doesn't seem to be a field in which you could write someone off because they suck. If they have some sort of power they will remain relevant regardless, and you have to accept that reality or you may be the one who becomes irrelevant.

That's exactly why I could never be a politician myself.

I would hate to even live in a political arena like DC. Visiting and partying there is one thing but being there everyday and working there would suck for me.

Tough call, you make some very valid points, but in some cases I do believe politicians can stick to their guns. I think Ted Cruz is one of the most duplicitous, obstructive, partisan, and divisive politicians we have seen in a long time. That being said, I had to give grudging respect to him that he never endorsed or truly supported Trump after all of the vicious attacks Trump leveled at him personally and his wife and father.

And this is before you take into account his many, many other failed business. And the fact that we have absolutely no idea how much he's actually worth since he refuses to something that every single presidential nominee has done for the past 40 years and release his tax returns.

I find it hilarious how Trump defenders mention how awesome!! he is at business while completely brushing aside or ignoring the fact that he's really nothing but a glorified trust-fund baby who's main accomplishment is that he didn't waste all of his daddy's money on hookers and cheap blow.

    Exactly!!
They pretend he's a self made guy. And interestingly all the self made money guys don't respect him. Have you heard how they talk about him?

Oh, I've seen some of those interviews. He's a gaudy, ostentatious, loudmouth who thinks that living in a gold-plated penthouse in the middle of Manhattan is a respectable show of how "wealthy" he is. And funniest part is that it wouldn't even be a topic of discussion if he didn't spend the entire campaign bragging about great of a businessman he is, and how being good at business equals being able to do a job that's completely different from anything he's ever done before.

The best description I've seen of Trump is that he's dumb man's idea of a smart man, a weak man's idea of a tough man, and (most importantly) a poor man's idea of a rich man. Trump's about as self-made as the turf in Cowboy's Stadium.

    As Sun Tzu says....

    ??????????????????????????????????????

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be put at risk even in a hundred battles.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

I've realized the last few months, you basically have to watch BOTH Liberal & Conservative news to get a bigger picture of what's going on in this country. Fox News will discuss topics that CNN & MSNBC won't touch and Vice Versa.
