It's weird because Melania is only 11 years older than Ivanka. Trump could be her father.

Melania has that look like Donald took away her car and put her on punishment.

at least 53% of white females who voted, voted for Twitler. Sadly, this is not without precedence in the context of American history.

Actually, that's the one thing I don't think is weird about the whole thing. Its natural for men that can (and who want that) atract young women. It's only relatively recently that people think there is something wrong with it. Most single, older and old men would prefer having a young, hot wife. Especially, if he'd like more kids. I don't think there's anything wrong or creepy about it. That's a feminist idea that has crept into our society and men have been shamed into believing.

Sorry, I have to scrub myself with bleach. I just defended Trump.

^It's more to do with the post - traditional society that we live in. Girls as young as 15 would get married way back.

Right. No, I meant the closeness in age between Melania and Ivanka was weird from a family dynamic.
You know Ivanka doesn't see Melania as a mother figure and Melania doesn't see Ivanka like a daughter.

I wonder if they almost view each other as rivals competing for Donald's affection??
And we already know Ivanka has won that battle since she's his favorite Trump of all.
I'm just spit balling, but I wonder if the constant presence of Ivanka around Trump is stressing their marriage.

    I hope so.lol

I'm sorry (not sorry) but I can't allow myself to feel sorry for Melania Trump. I started to, seeing all of the videos, memes and photos of her, sulking. But after I thought about it, it's an awkward juxtaposition; she's in full control of herself and her situation. Ultimately whether or not we feel for the woman, she has supported and empowered her husband to where he stands today. Better still, she has been married to the man and has lived in the dark shadows of seemingly emptiness and dealt with her inner turnoil for some time now. It's just profoundly magnified now that he has presumed the role of dictator *ahem* President. She could be in her marriage solely for the sake of the fortune as well as her son (if she's like most mothers).

At the end of the day, she is her own person and she can leave Donald if she really wants to. Don't feel too sorry for her...

Not to say Melania is indeed as miserable as she appears (I'm starting to believe this is just her "look") but if we go by her past portrayal thru the media etc., she does appear to do her own thing and she definitely is feelin herself so I'm more opt to be optimistic and say she basically lives her own life until being forced into the limelight of politics and becoming the First Lady.

She even broke the mold of being super submissive by wanting to live at their residence in NY to allow for their son to finish the school year, with the mention of Ivanka stepping into the role of "Acting First Wife"

I hear you but I see her as an abused wife, her status makes no difference (if anything it makes it even harder for her). Seeing how her husband talks, thinks, acts, behaves... There's no way she's not emotionally and likely verbally abused. I think nothing is more sad than physically having it all, having your husband next to you, the money to be financially secure forever... and feeling completely alone, unappreciated, degraded, judged, etc. I see nothing but heartache in her eyes.

Trust me, immediately following the polling results I went hard on Melania on fb. Slammed her for her past, for her dedication to a monster for her "weakness" in nit leaving. At the end of the day though, she's not responsible for his actions. I had to try to look beyond what she's tolerated in her ass of a spouse and imagine what she deals with everyday with him. I just can't not feel hurt for her. I think she's a hurt soul trapped in the life of someone she no longer comfortable with.

Where was all this shit talk for 8 years about Michelle wearing the pants between her and Barack, and his fear of her wrath?

Where was the shit talk about Strooong "I'm-a-NAAASTY-woman!" Hillary, for staying with a husband who emotionally abused her in all sorts of ways.
    The hypocrisy..is laughable.

Are you honestly comparing a spoiled little brat who's crying because daddy took away her silver spoon, to a woman who's likely the victim of incredible emotional/verbal abuse at the hands of her husband?

I don't know that Mrs Trump is a victim of abuse any more than you know that privileged white girl is actually spending her thousands on school. Between these two scenarios, your princess gets zero % of my sympathy.

Money can't fix everything and to think Mrs trump is above being a victim because of her financial worth is incredibly ignorant.

I'm not sure if this is a question to all but I never believed Obama was "fearful of Michelle's wrath". I'm sure we could find pictures on the internet to justify whatever our beliefs are about any celebrity couple but after watching interactions between Mr and Mrs Obama for 8 years, they seem to have an incredible amount of love and respect for each other IMO.

As for Hillary, I don't believe her to be a victim of abuse like you described. She married a pig who couldn't keep it in his pants. While I'm sure it was emotionally taxing having to deal with that nonsense, I think what Melania endures is much different. Trump doesn't just have fidelity issues, he's a sexual predator who sees no value or worth in women or anyone else he deems less than. There's just no comparing these two first lady's IMO.

Again the girl who got kicked out for dating a black guy is automatically spoiled based on nothing but your own internal bias but a member of the oligarchy is some how a battered abused woman. Got it. Apparently the right isn't the only side capable of cognitive dissonance lol

LOL. When did you ever see Barack defer or take a back seat to Michelle?? She was always on the sidelines and never involved in any policy decisions.
In fact she's said she didn't really want to be involved with Barack's presidency on that level.

She was content to be First Lady, raise the kids, and be a part of non-partisan public policy issues, like improving public heath through better diet.

It's only beta male conservatives who found Michelle Obama threatening because she's almost 6 feet tall and a Black woman.
However as a Black man, I never saw anything aggressive, confrontational or hostile about Michelle Obama.

That 'angry Black woman' shit was some made up White male insecurity BS invented by marshmallow White male conservatives.

If you as a man think Michelle Obama is intimidating, you've never met a thugged out, badass Black woman.
