Generally, you should avoid anyone who puts one race only in their profile.

if you have a racial preference that's fine, but to those who don't know you personally they may view it as a fetish and it will turn people away. You can put "strongly prefer BM" which won't come across as bad and you should still have the same results.

Yup. Actually most women who have that I only date a certain of guy profile are never fun women worth getting to know in my experience. Then again I'm not a fan of online dating period unless it's strictly a hook up thing.

I'm not saying all white women who put that in their profiles are like that, it's just been my experience. For all I know, it could be just me and the types of WW I attracted on line. But, my experience is really all I had to go on. And I'm big on learning from experience.

They're usually looking for a fetish or a caricature of a black man. For a lot of them we're walking dildos

^Do find that when you're around them, you do almost all the talking, and they just give you that lustful stare?

No not really that as much as adults who still have early 20s interests of that makes sense.

It seems to me that most people are really just looking for ways to exclude others in one way or another.

Well yes and no. I rarely ever see black people do it

I'm not talking about whether or not they put something blatant on a profile (which by the way ...I've seen MANY black people do it) I just mean that in the process of dating people will use their experiences to exclude others based on those experiences. So because this guy/chick did this then all who are that skin tone, work at that job, have been married (or not), etc would be the same and should be excluded from consideration. Before you know it, people are approaching it as looking for what's wrong and why NOT to be with the other person rather than what could be right and how they could be together.

Nah we do it too, I see a lot of young BM say they only want light skin girls, snowbunnys, latinas etc.

Yeah people get too much into the disqualified instead of what qualify a person.

It's like a person brings you a rose but you don't like cause it has a thorn on it

Which includes black women. The difference is aesthetic vs fetishism. And maybe we need a woman to answer how often she sees no black or dark skin women or just lighter women only to better understand it

I'm actually glad those types are weeded out

I've seen men put all sorts of things about only dating outside their race, listing all they date and just omitting those they don't, some put that they only date black women, those who have biracial children and will put something about that and how they prefer to date white women. My guess would be everything men have seen women put, women have seen men put.

I think if you were to take a survey of all happy couples you would find that all of them would have "weeded out" their mate if they had gone by a list of all sorts of specifics that they derived from previous dating experiences.

This I believe. A lot of times, we are our own worst enemies when it comes to dating.
