People keep giving the sexist social conditioning of "he's a male so he shouldn't have hit her back." Again he is a bigger, stronger and more powerful human being that should of been more aware of the circumstances. If this was a bigger, stronger female that hit her it would be the same results... I can tell you that right now. Gender doesn't have anything to do with this, power and strength does.

The statement was not to hit anyone in public or private. Get right !!! Go back and read. .lying ass. Lol

You believe it's ok for a woman to hit people with no consequences. You are a piece of work

Oh no, this is definitely about gender. The only reason that this is a major story is because a man hit a woman. If this had been a larger female athlete hitting a smaller woman or a larger male athlete hitting a smaller man then this wouldn't even be a story. Every single newspaper or website that covered this story frames this as "man hitting woman." Some might mention the race and some might mention their respective sizes but in every single article gender is going to be the defining factor.

  6. Given the attitudes that women have and their behaviours to be never held accountable for their actions, many females will yell and hit a man in public, and men will sit there and take it full well knowing JOHN LAW is on the woman´s side.

And if they keep doing this it will hit critical mass.

And most men will get so fucking fed up that even though a jail cell may await him, the fact that female on male aggression has been taken to the wire that a he will not hesitate sending the bitch to a hospital or to her grave.

And he will gladly tell the judge "It was worth it, your honor".

If anything the coverage would be memes and viral videos. Nothing that would be taken seriously

Reminds me of this video clip I saw. This guy was on a show like the view and the male guest mentioned something about a man being domestic abuse and the audience began to laugh. He then told them how that shit wasn't ok and not gonna fly with him. The fickle cunts in the audience then began clapping. Damn shame

EDIT: It was some maury knockoff but the point remains the same

  9. Did this guy over-react ? Probably.

But I poked a Tiger with a stick I'd probably expect an over-reaction

That's your damn take... She shouldn't be hit.

Go look at the vid. She called the dude over. She talks . He tried to walk and she grabs/push him and hits him.

You are saying she shouldn't have been touched.

You are fucking crazy. You need to stop drinking nyquil

It was actually allowing black people in the higher positions of the church. And yes, a day before they were going to lose their tax exemption status they had a "vision" and changed their view. Lol.

Nope. A token black person is essentially saying, "you are one of the good ones, not like all the other niggers". Token status is still racist.

I disagree. If Joe Mixon was white, the media wouldn't have been aggressively fighting the court system for 2.5 years to get the video released to the public.

Joe Mixon was already punished 2 years ago & the girl didn't want the video released either, so I have no idea why the video needed to be released now other than exploitation to demonize a BM in the media.

I didn't learn anything new from watching the video.

Mixon's lawyers released it, pursuant to a court order. And while race was a factor, gender is by far the dominant one in every outlet that covered it. The Ray Rice incident involved two black people and it was covered the same way, and that story was all about gender.

Show me where I said that she shouldn't have been touched. I always ask, you never do.

I don't have enough psych experience to fix whatever's wrong with you, and I don't have the patience to go back and forth with a grown man about shit that literally was never said. Good night GL.

Bye Felicia and take that damn cape off. This is where you can use the word "caping" in the right context.

Exactly. They didn't want to talk the fact the she assaulted him. He defended himself.

The ONLY thing he did wrong was not calling the cops after he KO'ed the stank. If he called the cops it would've been better for him.

Correct -- it's not that complicated. That's why it's a shame that you're missing the point.

Yes, she shouldn't have hit him. She should've known better... Even a toddler or a 90 y.o. should know better.

But that's not what we're talking about. We're talking about HIS REACTION.

As a toddler, I was taught to not to talk shit to cops. Was taught not to toddle away or struggle as they're trying to cuff me. Is it okay for cops to shoot down people who do such things? Are they "defending themselves" when they blast (or brutalize) a drunk who talks back or struggles?

...Or is shooting them down excessive and disproportionate?

The answers are obvious. Just as obvious: this guy's reaction to a love tap from a chick half his size was excessive. And even more important -- far more important -- IT DIDN'T HELP HIM AT ALL. He wasn't "defending himself". Her love tap wasn't going to land him in the hospital -- but being jumped in county might. Her little shove wasn't going to change his life -- but the internet infamy and criminal record might.

The dude doesn't even gain pride. I can see clocking a guy like that -- even a little guy -- for doing what she did. But clocking a little cheerleader like that doesn't even defend your pride. And it's worth saying: I bet he would've been a wee bit more hesitant if the person shoving him was a linebacker twice his size.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for someone here to tell me what he gained from a reaction like that.
