    yep

It may not be fair...but it is how it is. Boys (especially if they are black) need to make sure there is NO possibility that anyone can even twist any actions into something that could be looked at as violent. Especially now when people get in trouble for just saying the wrong thing.

On the girls side, they need to not be doing things to instigate or fuel situations and they also need to be reporting things when they do happen.

There's simply no reason for anyone to ever put their hands on another person. But they have to be taught ways to deal with their anger early on and given that many of their parents are running around acting like fools, it makes it difficult.

Yeah she did put her hands on him first, but he is clearly stronger and CLEARLY can pack more power, I would of chose a different tactic."

That right there should have given her indication NOT to put her hand on him, let alone his face, that's pushing it too far. If a 5'8" 130 pound male put his hand on the face of a man 6'2" and 100 pounds heavier, and that 6 footer punched his lights out, would we be even having this conversation miss?

"she hit him first I don't believe in going around hitting women"

I believe in egalitarianism, something I think many 'feminist' have an allergy towards, I don't believe anyone male/female should initiative violence. It's a shame that in almost every culture that defending oneself against a women is not acceptable UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE yet beating children in the name of 'obedience' is still a universal concept despite the fact that a child's brain is not fully developed yet a grown women is more than capable of understanding that assaulting someone could in theory get you hurt.

As usual raider steps in with logic and rationality.

Correct -- he should not have roundhoused her like that. Save that shit for MEN who lay hands on you.

She wasn't expecting that & didn't deserve it.

Now, what has he won? ...Getting his anger off his chest? She's half his size, so what has he proven?

Dude looks like an ignorant punk and now has caught a case. Jeesh -- young guys have a hard time controlling their testosterone these days. Once again, a generation making up their own values on proud display.

But yet its his fault. She has a record of acting a fool but because she's a woman she gets a pass.

Let's wait till she kills someone then we will ask why no one stopped her

Hopefully broken bones were enough this time around. She's the type of girl at a party who threatens to beat everyone's ass when her cell phone goes missing.

But the point is that while she's not at all innocent, she deserves punishment but she shouldn't have been hit full force by someone so much stronger than her. Imagine your daughter GL. I'm sure she's an awesome young lady but just imagine if she was older and maybe had a bit of a mouth on her and some guy got offended and knocked her the fuck out. You'd no doubt want to talk some sense into her about watching her idiotic mouth, but I guarantee that you'd be pissed that a man put his whole strength into punching your daughter in the face.

Everyone has their opinion here but for me, my son is being raised to never hurt a woman... and my daughter is being raised to always behave as the intelligent, respectable young lady she is. If some skank comes after my son, id expect him to use his size and strength to restrain the heffer until authorities arrive. I'd be SO disappointed and angry if he ever went further than what was necessary. That would absolutely break my heart.

My daughter wouldn't be a fool to get drunk or Be a fool to put her hands on anybody.

Having a mouth is different than laying hands.

A man knows how check a woman without cursing and hitting.

A man has discipline and logic.

If you want to lay hands on a dude then get your ass prepared to take a dirt nap

Or until someone kills her. Not every single person is going to fight her back but like that video shows, it only takes one time to get your ass kicked, or something worse. I am willing to bet that she hasn't raised her hands to another person since then.

That's why I don't fight with people, regardless of their size or gender. Once you start being violent to someone you have no idea how that person's going to respond. Some people push and some people punch, but some people also go outside and pop the trunk. Nine times out of ten when you keep your hands to yourself you won't have any problems.

I predicted she was a nut and since put up her mug shot but you ignored that.

The problem is that ,you can distinguish between a woman and a female.

Just cause she has a pussy and over 21 ,doesn't make her woman

Exactly. I have no sympathy for her.

Did the news reports ever bring up her arrest record when this was first being reported? I wouldn't be surprised if they left that out.

And just because you have a dick, doesn't make you a man. No MAN would hit a woman like that. Period. You say "men have discipline and logic", yet this young "man" showed neither in his interaction with that female. Discipline and logic would've been removing himself from the situation, not hauling off on her.

Keep thinking your daughter will never act foolish GL. We can raise them right and they'll STILL push the envelope at times. I pray my children never go too far with their limit testing, but to think they'll never act out is the dumbest shit I've ever heard. Good luck with that.

I first found the story through Reddit so I didn't even really know about this until recently. But one of the articles that it linked to had her mugshot on the page, although I don't think that it mentioned any of her previous arrests.

Reminds me of those two chicks that got their shit wrecked by that cashier at McDonald's after they hopped the counter and attacked him. Dude grabbed a lead pipe and went to work on them. After the 47th swing, he was done. Ha. He went overboard with the number of swings but it goes back to you don't know how people will react. I'm guessing this is the reason you learn to "keep your hands to yourself" in preschool. I apply that to to this very day. I don't touch people and don't like being touched.

When I was in the sixth grade I got into two fights that year. Both times I got my ass beat. It was then that I knew that I couldn't fight worth a damn. I've been keeping my hands to myself ever since. I'd honestly call the police on someone before I let it escalate because that's how shit goes sideways fast. She was lucky because the entire incident was 1) in a public place, 2) on camera, and 3) with witnesses.

I feel bad that she got her bones broken and looking back on it I'd bet that Mixon feels pretty bad about it too. I believe that he probably reacted solely off of instinct and probably didn't realize his own strength. And the fact that she hit her head on the table going down is unfortunate. But I don't feel sorry for her for getting hit because when you raise your hands to someone you're already in the wrong.

Just like me back '92 when I got my ass kicked I learned that fighting isn't my forte, and hopefully she's realized that too. To me it's like a burglar getting shot and killed by a homeowner while breaking into that person's house: it's sad and tragic that a life was lost....but that burglar didn't get shot because he was at home minding his own business.

Lol I remember that story and that video. Yeah, that one was an ass-beating waiting to happen. You never go behind the fucking counter unless you work there; that's like walking into someone's house uninvited in the middle of the night. You might as well yell out "I'm about to commit a felony. Go ahead and shoot me!"
