Didn't watch the video, but personally I would do everything possible to avoid hitting a woman simply because the last time I punched someone in the face I wasn't nearly as strong as I am now. Don't really know how much damage I would do. With that said I do have my limits. The caveat is that if two or more women are attacking me then tuff luck for them. I'm hitting back and with full force because I know one of them could blind side me with a weapon.
Pretty much. Knowing the backstory behind this she sustained some pretty serious injuries after he hit her because she hit the table on the way down and that's unfortunate. Thankfully she survived and she's okay. And in the future now that he knows his own strength Mixon will probably just choose to restrain or walk away in the future. But she put her hands on him first so she's just as wrong as he is, if not more so. She may not have been arrested but despite that, or the fact that she's a woman, or the fact that she's maybe half his size, she had absolutely no right to put her hands on him. At all. Full stop. She probably felt like she could swing on him without retaliation because she's probably done it before plenty of times and gotten that same result. Abusers keep abusing because they know that they can get away with it. Hopefully they both learned some important lessons from this: he learns that nine times out of ten it's better to just walk away from an encounter and she learns that being a woman doesn't give her a license to put her hands on anybody without expecting them to retaliate.
That's my approach to it. I would have called the police and filed a report against her because what she did was misdemeanor battery. If she can't handle problems without resorting to violence then a few days in jail, a year or so on probation, and some anger management classes might be exactly what she needs to start acting like an adult.
Yep, he did. He was suspended from the football team for a year after it happened and he has since been reinstated. Exactly. I see way too many people, both male and female, try to take matters like this into their own hands. It never ends up well for anyone.
I'm not a man but I'm certainly teaching my son this (as is his dad). Judging by the size of his father, my son will likely be a big guy and he better always keep that in mind if/when altercations arise. His race and his size will be two things going against him should he be involved in any sort of violence and he needs to always remain cognizant of that.
She did. She's a sorry excuse for a woman but that doesn't give him the right to knock her out. He's larger and stronger. Even without specific training in restraining attackers, I'm sure he could've subdued her without going the route he chose.
You do dumb things dumb things will happen. Equality is a rough thing to get into. In all seriousness its a good thing that video came out because otherwise he would've been jammed Dude gotta control themselves especially bm
I love when people try to bring in equality. The fight for equality has nothing to do with knocking a woman out. No amount of gender equality will suddenly make women physically comparable to men. Violence is not a way to solve anything and there's never an excuse for beating on someone smaller than you, man or woman.
GOOD No it's not. Be quiet. Your acting like she got bitten by an inland taipan and she had no anti-venom nearby More fool him should he heed your advice. Because this will make him MORE attractive to women. Women love to be thrown around, choked, spanked, and overall completely dominated in the bedroom. I can inundate you with examples but let’s save that for another time. "Don't start shit, won't be shit." In Jujitsu, we have soft hand techniques such as joint locks, which are extremely painful and very effective. These can be used as an effective way to stop a physically abusive woman's attack, with no/little residual damage. Since it is a defensive technique and no overt physical moves (like punches) are made, law enforcement would have a very difficult time proving any type of violence occurred. No man should ever allow another person, male or female, to hit him with out retribution It's getting to the point where if you simply disagree with a female she can call the police. And yes a man has zero rights and can do NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING to even defend himself should a hormonal driven animal goes ballistic and attack him; she will not be held accountable for her actions. I am quite certain that the skag featured in that video clip eventually was given help by white knights and the system; whereas if that were a man he would have been tossed in jail.
No doubt. You have to have a camera every where you go. Especially when you deal with a woman. They can scream rape or whatever .
It's funny that her friends didn't try to intervene before she got clocked. It's obvious to me that she's done this before. I can guess she does this in private. Yeah she's an abuser
She's been arrested at least twice before so you're probably right. Her friends probably know exactly what kind of person she is.
This! I certainly agree that he wasn't justified in hitting her, but I also fully understand that this result can easily happen. I was taught to never hit a woman and to somehow find it within myself to walk away. For me personally... I'll instantly walk away because I'm fearful that I may instinctively hit back in such a situation. Again, I agree in that I would not let words from her cause me to go after her physically. In the few times that I've found myself in situations like this... I intentionally walked away before it escalated any further. Thankfully, none of them came after me to continue.
Yup! This, all day. I don't have any children, but if I had sons... I definitely would've been instructing them to walk away, not let words affect them and defend yourself (only) as an absolute last resort. I once told my nephew the same thing in which he thought it was unfair... I just had to keep driving home the point that he's likely to be much stronger and can easily hurt a woman. I told his younger sister the other end in that no one has any right to ever lay hands on her, but she also needs to do her part. Some men don't get this lesson and/or agree with it, and I don't want her getting hurt if she ever runs into one of those guys.
