Prince Harry Defends Girlfriend, ‘Suits’ Actress Meghan Markle, From ‘Wave of Abuse and Harassment’

Even the prince can't escape the hate.

 

This is a serious problem. Prince Harry's love life has been scrutinized but not to this extent. His father Prince Charles dated a lot of women before Diana and Camilla.

His uncle Prince Andrew once dated softcore porn actress "Koo" Starke. She even had tea with Queen Elizabeth.

Harry is in a battle of two fronts:

1. Media. He can only do so much in his position and legal action might be even more newsworthy because of his(royal)title and the Crown's involvement.

2.Royal protocol. The Crown's staffers investigate any man or woman who is in a close relationship with royal personages. The Crown will ask about politics, religion, employment, leisure activities, sexuality and whether or not a person is a virgin.
These questions were asked to Lady Diana before she married Prince Charles.
Even Sarah Ferguson was asked these questions.

These are measures to protect the reputation of the Crown.

However, the media is not under rule of the Crown because paparazzi follows their every move.
The Royal family and other high profile celebrities are considered fair game.

For racists trolling the internet, whom claim to know the facts about the royal protocol from the issue of aesthetics, i,e , cultural heritage and bloodlines.

Meghan Markle would be under more scrutiny than ever before in her life if the relationship becomes more and more serious. Perhaps unnerving because of the racist trolls.

Who knows how this will work out?

In Japan, the Imperial Prince Naruhito faced a similar situation. He met and fell in love with Masako Owada. Miss Owada was not only beautiful and tall, but very smart(she went to Oxford) and very modern by western standards. She was on her way to becoming a cabinet minister in the Diet in Tokyo. The Imperial family had traditional values. Archaic. Miss Owada might not fit in with the Imperial family.

The Prince and the Empress talked it over and The Prince told the Empress that he loved Masako. The Empress understood and the rest of the family agreed to let the Prince follow his heart.

That is the One lesson to be learned in this situation.

 

Diana's romance with Dodi Al Fayed was, indeed, different. It was said that Diana was reading about Islam to better understand Dodi. Dodi's father ran Harrods in London for years, but despite that, he wasn't allowed to be a British citizen. Dodi was involved in films, most notably the Oscar-winning Chariots of Fire where he was part of the production staff. His father was happy with the relationship because it could bring him the respectability he once had and he could become a British citizen.

When they died in that crash in that tunnel in Paris, only Diana's bodyguard survived.

I don't think Meghan Markle is going to face that fate. And given what Diana faced even before William and he were born, and burying their mother, Prince Harry will not let this happen to Meghan.

I could have sworn I saw a picture of her mother and father together and the mom was a more chocolate skin tone. Oh well, either it was the lighting or I'm thinking of someone completely different.
