I have read Jews who support him. I didn't find anti-Semitic or pro Confederate Flag info on him. But if he is pro flag then he can go fuck himself. I understand the historical nature of it and it belongs in a museum but to support it and wave it with pride is disgusting to me.

I don't like his Pick, l don't. He's quite controversial...yet so is Donald. But l feel like Bannon is ubswayable whereas Trump can be, to balance out a bit.

AB, People can judge me on my friends all day, l don't care..l have misfits for friends and elitists and in between..l can always find a meeting point to engage them on..

As for Western culture, what is so wrong with it? I don't want to live under Sharia Law or Muslim doctrine. They have their 14th Century countries, leave our country and culture alone.

I was referring to "Baghdad Bob" (Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf), their Minister of Information and National TV spokesman on the night we invaded Iraq. He's telling Iraqis all is well and we have conquered the Infidels when you could literally hear the U.S Air strikes in the background. I'm thinking you were just a child so wouldn't know this.

He is how the Left were on their erroneous polls and your "imminent landslide win over Trump".

As for job growth, the GDP under Obama was the lowest under any President. It remained in the high 1 percentages to low two's. Never hit 3% which is in fact, deplorable.

Ok that's not true. If you control for being handed an economy that was losing jobs every month of 2009 he's only second to Clinton in job creation
And again every time we've had a Republican Congress and a Republican President we have a recession followed by a crash. At least in my lifetime. They cut and never replace revenue. They promise job creation and then offshore jobs. These people are loyal to their money first last and always.
I hope for your sake you're right about him but all other facts and evidence says otherwise.

That's the part that seemingly any and everyone who's critical of President Obama selectively forget. Most of us can easily remember that horrible time in from '08 into '09 when the economy was consistently shedding a few hundred thousand jobs per month. Then, if that wasn't bad enough... Look how many times the GOP were against extending unemployment benefits to those affected.

Bliss you and I dont agree on sources so I know you wont believe these facts but for those of you reading this thread,

    - Taxes for middle class were lowered

    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...-obama-said-hes-cut-taxes-middle-class-famil/

Obama has raised some taxes during his presidency, but he’s also pursued broad-based tax cuts for the middle class and small businesses. We particularly give weight here to the tax cuts that were part of the stimulus and the payroll tax holiday, which reduced taxes for broad swaths of the workforce. Some small businesses may have been hit by new taxes that were part of Obama’s health law, but these would depend on the particular circumstances of each business. Also, there were new taxes on cigarettes and indoor tanning.

Obama said he has "cut taxes for those who need it – middle-class families, small businesses." He has, but he also has raised some taxes. So while his statement is accurate, it lacks that additional context. We rate his claim Mostly True.

    - The unemployment rate was cut in half during Obama's administration and it was NOT just because of low paying/part-time jobs

    http://www.theatlantic.com/business...-obamas-part-time-america-in-5-graphs/283674/

    - By ANY measure, by ANY definition President Obama deported more illegals than any other president.

    http://www.vox.com/2014/4/9/5575006/2-million-immigrants-have-been-deported-under-obama

    - Trade deals, read for yourself what the president has ACTUALLY signed
    https://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2015/06/29/trade-here-s-what-president-signed-law

    - Investing in America, the 2009 stimulus package saved us from a depression along with the auto industry and banking industry, and the loans have been paid back with interest in most cases.

    - Spending - the deficit was cut by $1 Trillion under Obama, although it is rising some again most recently.

Exactly this. It's the company you keep. You can't talk about wanting to bring people together then go out and make a right-wing conspiracy minded bigot one of your closest advisors.

I do agree - he is a bigot.
Obama also surrounded himself with bigots but there wasn't the uproar like this.
If Hillary had positioned left winger Ariana Huffington as her Advisor or anti-catholic Podesta or Huma who is pro-islamic, would you have the same reaction?

I don't think this Bannon guy is what the country needs, however. IDK what advice Trump can garner from him..it's a different ballgame now, he should let him advise off the record only if he is steering badly, but there has to be a better advisor in his camp than him. Just an awful pick.

    Agreed.

Trump had a lot of shakeups during his campaign. I think he was on his third? (at least his second for sure) campaign manager on election day. I wasn't paying close enough attention, so I don't know if Trump got rid of them or if they quit.

But, Trump is a business man. I wouldn't be surprised if he drops whomever he needs to if things aren't looking good. He dropped Chris Christie like a hot biscuit from leading his transition team one day after being elected.

Yeah, Bannon is a bad, bad choice, but I'm going to play the wait-and-see approach to see how long he stays.

Yes, but I'd bet $$$ that he did this only because of the convictions of Christie's 2 top aides, and it's likely that he won't be escaping this scandal.

My apologies Bliss and my opinion on things is that Trump should tread lightly for next four years.
