I cannot understand it either! It's crazy. But at the end of the day it was selecting between the lesser of two evils.

I think the majority of ww were just following their husbands lead. Many times (most often, even?) when it comes to politics, I think ww do as they're told by the males in their lives. That's the only way I can rationalize what happened. What level headed intelligent woman could vote for someone who so clearly only sees us as objects? Not to mention the small fact that he's a sexual predator  "Doing as they're told" is literally all I've got.

That makes it seem like it was a much closer choice than it actually was. This election was equivalent to choosing someone who got arrested for weed or someone arrested for mass murder. It was never a choice imo and it's mind boggling that so many people saw more than one option here, let alone chose to make that deal with the devil.

I think we mitigated to such a point. After having Obama for so long our standards went up. sort of like you have to do better than Obama or nothing else....

Now we got trump who will elect someone that is not pr choice onto the supreme cout and we will be taking two steps back on a lot of things as oppose to one step back with Clinton.

That's the way that it always is in every election, though. There's no such thing as the perfect candidate.

One of the best memes I saw about this election (I can't find it) said it was like choosing between the iPhone 7 and the Galaxy Note 7: one of those phones has no headphone jack while the other will literally explode while you're using it.

We have got to stop buying into the idea of the lesser of two evils its simply not true there are people who believe in good public service. Was Gore a lesser evil than Bush or just better?
Was Obama a lesser evil than McCain and Romeny or just better?
Was Bernie a lesser evil than Hilary or just better. We have got to shift the thinking and the speech because as we've seen speech can be destructive as hell.

I think the majority of ww Latina and Asian women do exactly what you're talking about. Only BW gave Hilary 90% of their vote everyone else was in the damn 60s benefits of a matriarchy I guess. The ability and room to think about what you really want opposed to making some dick bag feel good.
I know one thing for sure I'm gonna start demanding black people in my life stop voting for Democrats without them actually offering something real we are the most loyal base voters in this country bar none and get treated like shit for it. No more.

Violent protest has no place in a democracy.
These people don't deserve the right to vote.

How do you do this when the other side is offering nothing or little to nothing? I mean there is a reason why Powell wasn't the first black president even though he had the skill set.

Ok so real talk can we petition to get certain members banned from here.
I just read Steve Bannon was listed as Trumps policy advisor this dude is a widely known white supremacist.
To those of you who voted for him or purely against Clinton you literally accepted and supported the oppression of not only my family but every single person on here who is black or has a black family. You put emails over our lives you thought your bullshit protest vote made sense over stopping an overt racist from taking seat in the white house. You have no place among us you've chosen your side. It may not be rooted in hate but it's rooted in complete callous indifference. We have never been anything more than walking dildos and shows that in your support of man who will create a holocaust and subsequent civil war. Fuck you from the deepest part of my soul.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that any candidate is actually evil but that's the way people always phrase it. It happens every single year no matter who's running. There will always be people who complain that "both sides suck!" which may be true in some cases.

My point was that there's never going to be a perfect candidate. As long as humans are the running for office humans are what we're going to be stuck with, and every single one of us is flawed.

For those of you looking for more information regarding Steve Bannon/Breitbart news, see link below. Trump picking Bannon as a key advisor is VERY concerning and everyone needs to keep an eye on this guy.

Also be aware of what hate groups are in your area per the map below, a lot of chatter in the legal community of increasing activity in these groups since last Tuesday.

It is definitely alarming. Interesting how so many don't see this. Rather... They selectively refuse to see it.

I can't understand how Black Separatist groups are in the same category with White Supremacist groups.

Because dumb people act like everything is a 1:1
They totally ignore context and history which is how you have assholes comparing the kkk to the black Panthers as if they are at all similar other than both being made up of homogeneous groups. One was about love and protection the other eradication.
