Don't forget, Obama (democrats) had both houses of congress for the first two years, and the minority republicans still were able to gridlock most legislation. The GOP is deeply divided under Trump, it will be interesting to see if the can play nice, and how the dems work against them.

 

The GOP didn't gridlock Obama his first two years in office. He had a supermajority in the House and Senate.
