That's pretty much Trump's M.O. in a nutshell. Maybe those poor people should have thought about that before they decided to be poor lol.
Both Bill and Hillary became millionaires once they were out of office by primarily giving speeches. The same way Reagan and others became very wealthy once they were private citizens. HRC did not enrich herself as a U.S. Senator or the Secretary of State. If people really want real change in Washington, it starts with the GOP controlled Congress. THe real problem is the Republican party has no new ideas and their elected leaders are more concerned with obstruction and retribution than actually drafting and passing legislation to better the lives of the American people. It's cool to blame the POTUS for every ill in the country, nonetheless people need to look a bit deeper to see where the real problem lies. If Congress had co-signed all of Obama's policy proposals to create infrastructure jobs and spending initiatives, the entire country would be in a much better place. You can't expect real change with a GOP controlled Congress.
Agreed! I don't like that gamble at all. Contrary to what he said about blacks voting for him... I have plenty "to lose in voting for Trump".
Perhaps, but with Obama it was straight up racism which was only intensified with leaders whose stated priority was to totally not work with the POTUS (which is their job) and make him a one term president.
I disagree with that, especially since Trump's running mate is about as far-right as you can get. Combine that with a Republican-controlled Congress and it doesn't matter how liberal the President is. Jill Stein could have Bernie Sanders as her running mate and win all 50 states; it doesn't mean anything without control of Congress. And as long as Tea Party/Freedom Caucus types that gave us Trump in the first place still have a large number of house seats, that's the way that it's going to be. We just saw Republicans spend eight years reflexively opposing everything that President Obama tried to do. That's not going to magically change if Jill Stein gets more votes. And as long as the GOP controls Congress they'd do the exact same thing to Bernie Sanders. Additionally, local and state races are even more important. From criminal laws to taxation to economic policies most of what affects people day to day is at the local and state level. Who controls governorships and state legislatures is even more important than control of Congress.
Already blatant double voter fraud happening in Philly. Typical. And one female Democrat judge snatched a Republican poll watcher's licence from his hand. Gangsters run this city. Disgusting. Even a deaf voter was turned away at 10th and Samson. The hell? So much for Democrats care for the disabled. Not the Republican ones, clearly. You apparently must be able to hear to vote.
Leopoldtrench, Maine, United States, about 21 minutes ago Vote for the Minority Party; Warren, Clinton, Pingree, Ha$$en, Kane, Pelo$i, Kerry - wait a sec... are all these people White?
Update: The woman who claimed Trump "raped" her at 13...lied. She said she named him to stop him from getting elected. It's a fucking disgrace to real rape victims and she needs to be arrested. I hope he sues her emtionally-unstable ass off.
Bliss, I recently heard an interview by Mark Thompson on Sirius radio with Luke Campbell of 2Live Crew where he told a story about attending a mansion house party with Eddie Murphy and Mike Tyson, hosted by Donald Trump, where Luther Campbell decided he had to roll up out of there because the girls were too young and the 'festivities' were too wild. Food for thought. I think any woman who was sexually assaulted by Donald Trump, true or not, would be scared out of her mind to go public. And I think such a woman could be easily intimidated to drop her case. Maybe she lied. However considering who she's accusing of rape, I think it would be very easy to 'keep her quiet'. The sexual escapades of the rich and famous in NY is almost an urban myth, and yet from time to time we see it corroborated. The orgies in the Hamptons. The underground sex clubs in Manhattan. My point is Trump probably isn't the person his followers and the evangelicals want to pretend he is. THe fact that you have teenage pageant contestants telling reporters that the Donald would walk into the contestants' dressing room unannounced just to see how things were going(!!), lets me know the dude has some serious pervy kink about him.
Not sure if you know but she filed her lawsuit several times and each was thrown out by the courts. She has a history of drug and mental problems. ( which explains her calling a presser and abrubly cxling it). I also heard about Trump at parties. He would be getting laid left and right but always declined the drugs. (he doesn't even like people smoking around him). He detests drugs. Dont know what wild is to 2 Live Crew and Mike "rapist" Tyson. I know that in the paegent and modelling industry there is no room for privacy or modesty. You are frequently undressing and dressing in front of adult males. It's the nature of the business and not sexual in nature. If they said he made lewd comments then l would be appalled. (Do football players complain when a female reporter walks into the LR?) If they asked for privacy and denied it, then l would be pissed.
The contestant who objected to Trump walking into the dressing room implied it was highly unusual for a man hosting the pageant to walk into their dressing room unannounced. It's not like Trump was helping these young women get into their gowns and swimsuits. Basically he was walking around and observing.:smt101 As for Luther Campbell's story, he implied drug use was the least of what he saw. He never would go into detail about what he witnessed exactly at that mansion house party that caused him to bounce. However, it seems like it was more than drugs and underage girls engaged in group sex. Luther Campbell never suggested he saw Donald engaged in any of the activities, just that freaky shit was going down at the mansion.
‘Obama made me a better man’ In a short but revealing profile... Glen Beck made several revelations about his recent worldview.... “I did a lot of freaking out about Barack Obama,” Beck said. “Obama made me a better man.” ...“There are things unique to the African-American experience that I cannot relate to...I had to listen to them.”
I was surprised to see him admit that, it will cost him in terms of his listeners who will not like him saying "anything" positive about the President. Shows a little bit of growth and understanding on Beck's part that I would not have guessed he was capable of.
We are having a lot of voter intimidation in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh that is coming in, so much so that it is a national story, an 800 complaint hotline number is now in place and our Democrat district attorney is going to hold a press conference. Minority Republican poll Watchers are being removed... Court-ordered voter officials are being denied entry and one was assaulted. Republican Voters are being told to show ID, Democrat voters are not. Republican Voters are being screamed at, told they are NOT welcome Sent to wrong lines Dem voters are filling out ballots outside Non officials are directing people inside the booths to vote Democrat. One Republican Black woman wanted to vote (her father is a Ward Leader) and they wouldn't let her. She recorded it. This is insanity. I hope the corrupt Philly Dem Party is proud of themselves!
