Truthfully this whole thing has made me rethink the elite thing because if they had true control it would have been Jeb Bush not Trump running.

There is historical precedent for presidential candidates being investigated Books, J. Edgar Hoover investigated Harry Truman, Adlai Stevenson, John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, and Hubert Humphrey, both before and after elections. In addition, the first investigation of Hilary ended in the FBI stating there was not enough to rise to the level of indictment, and so far we have no reason to believe this latest review will give us anything new.

Well call me dismissive too because seriously, who the fuck is this random guy supposed to be?

This is why I think that most third parties are a joke. They say and do nothing for years at a time but when the general election rolls around they piss and moan because they want a seat at the big kids' table without doing any of the actual work to get there.

If Greeens, Libertarians, and other outsiders want to be taken seriously then they need to be running at all levels of government, state and federal, and not just hoping that they get enough attention in leap years to finally see themselves elected President.

Only on one side, though. Truth be told Clinton is a bog-standard center right politician who's hawkish on foreign policy and maybe moderately liberal on economic issues. It's the Republican nominee that gives this election it's ridiculousness.

If John Kasich or Jeb Bush had won the GOP nomination this election would be about as boring as it gets.

And if not Bush then Marco Rubio. Possibly both. The GOP would have loved to have a young Hispanic candidate on their to try to offset their demographic problems with minority voters. Aside from that one debate where Chris Christie exposed him as a lightweight, he would have been if nothing else a great VP to a more established candidate.

    Right
It really showed us if this shit is fixed then they need to fix it again because Trump was a joke to everyone except the electorate.

You must not read Wikileaks. Hillary wanted Trump to win, did not want Rubio. She felt Trump was the easiest to beat and Rubio the toughest. So the DNC worked their tentacles to help make sure Trump was the ticket.

How, though? How did the DNC essentially rig the GOP Primaries? Wanting Trump to win is one thing but even if Clinton wanted Trump to be the nominee that doesn't mean the DNC had any influence over the millions of Republican primary voters who chose Trump over the other 15 people running for the nomination.

Uh, have you not been paying attention to the wiki leaks?

The media is in the pocket of Clinton and her cronies and they encouraged the media to concentrate on Trump.

Trump was in the news 24/7/365. That wasn't an accident.

That still doesn't answer my question. Even if Clinton was encouraging the media to cover Trump that doesn't automatically translate to millions of primary voters deciding to vote for him over the dozen plus other Republicans that year. I'm not talking about conspiracies or speculation, I'm talking about actual, empirical, verifiable evidence.

Think about what you and Bliss are alleging. You're trying to say that Hillary Clinton, with the help of her "cronies," managed to get millions of conservative, White, Republican voters to completely ignore household names like Bush in favor of Donald Trump. That she literally decided who her opponent would be in the general election.

Did Clinton encourage Trump to go on national television and make himself look like an ignorant, racist, sexist jackass?

Did Clinton encourage Republican voters to throw their support behind Trump as soon as he announced his candidacy?

Did Clinton also encourage other Republicans to not take Trump seriously until it was too late?

Did Clinton tell the campaign staffs of the other fifteen Republican nominees to basically sit on their hands while Trump racked up delegate after delegate during the primary season?

Did Clinton somehow encourage conservative media pundits and commentators like Sean Hannity to become Trump's biggest supporters?

Did Clinton encourage Jeb Bush, Rand Paul, Tim Pawlenty, etc., to drop out of the race so that Trump could get the nomination?

And if Clinton and her cronies were so good at encouraging the media about what to cover, then why not encourage the media to not cover the Benghazi nonsense? Why not encourage the media to ignore the whole email business? Hell, why even allow any negative coverage of herself at all if she's so powerful?

Do you see how ridiculous that sounds?

This right-wing belief that a Trump candidacy is somehow the handiwork of the all-powerful and omnipotent Clinton campaign is just ridiculous. Trump is the Republican nominee because he's a sexist, racist, childish, abrasive, ignorant jackass and that is exactly what GOP voters want.

The whole "Trump as Clinton plant" may be the only conspiracy dumber than the birtherism that put Trump in the conservative spotlight in the first place.

Sometimes I feel like Bliss and Bookie are trolling this board with some of the right wing conspiracy theories they drop in here.lol

More than ever, we live in a time where critical thinking is more important than ever before.

Talk show hosts and internet personalities rely on their listeners either being unwilling or unable to fact check the drivel that comes out of their mouths.

Trump is the GOP candidate for POTUS because the right wing has been feeding their base nothing but resentment, paranoia and hate since Obama was elected to office, until any establishment Republican candidate had no chance of winning the primaries.
When all politicians are scum, you end up with someone like Donald.

As for 3rd party candidates, they need to do more to become visible to most voters outside of election years.
I hardly ever hear about 3rd party candidates until there's a major election.

If people want to see more viable 3rd and 4th party options, you should have been supporting campaign finance reform years ago.

Don't look now but early voting polls in FLA are saying HRC is w-i-n-n-i-n-g big time in that state.

Man I just wanna see HRC blow the doors off Trump, to shut that egomaniac up for good.:axe:

    Word
When the GOP's mantra has been government stinks for nearly a decade is it really a shock that their base picked an outsider?
These conspiracy stories are so void of facts I don't get how anyone clings to them. I get not liking her but saying she rigged the Republican primaries? Come the fuck on

Get the story straight. Donna Brazile gave HRC one question before one of the debates when she was working at CNN.

That's the thing about HRC, her scandals are more annoying and frustrating, but they don't really rise to the level of some huge outrage or serious criminal misconduct.
