What kind of international experience did the President of the United States, Barack Obama, have before becoming president? As a U.S. Senator he was involved in votes on many international issues, notably the Iraq war. He was also a member of the Foreign Relations committee, chairing the subcommittee on European Affairs. His foreign policy resume was fairly weak when he was elected President. A comparable President is John F. Kennedy in terms of pre-presidency experience. Kennedy had very little international experience, but was on the Foreign Relations committee and chaired the subcommittee on African affairs. Obama's international affairs experience may seem weak, but the reality is that most president's have very little international experience before entering the White House. Both Bill Clinton and the more recent George Bush had almost no international experience since they were governors.
I dont believe Hilary will bring us to war with Russia, both countries will rattle their sabres, but they both know in the nuclear world the two big dogs cannot go to war. We certainly agree that this campaign season has been EXHAUSTING.
Well look how great that turned out so imagine what happens when a candidate actually has some. I always wonder what will make you conservatives happy. Please point to an administration that was actually good for the country.
That's your second disingenuous statement. You didn't ask me (or anyone else for that matter) what their opinion was on Johnson's or Stein's views. You simply said, "If you really study what Gary Johnson and Jill Stein's views are on a host of issues, you wouldn't consider them viable candidates." No reason to supply a counter argument, particularly to someone that assumes much yet knows so little in regards to what I or anyone else understands regarding US presidential candidates. Hillary Clinton is a straight nut job. See, it never stops being easy. These are stupid/meaningless statements to make because you can say them about any candidate. Though Johnson, Stein, Trump, etc have the benefit of not being subject to active FBI investigations. Crazy, right?! :???: Translation: If you don't agree with me and my opinions on who should be elected you might as well stay home on November 8th :smt022.
You're playing semantic games. My statements were made with arguments for why I said them. I wasn't just throwing insults. 'I know you are but what am I' kinda doesn't work as a counter argument once you leave the playground. I don't think you have a broad or specific understanding of Gary Johnson's radical libertarian ideas. He's not somewhat libertarian, he's a doctrinaire libertarian. BTW, if someone posts a comment on a message board, it's IMPLIED other posters can either choose to agree or disagree with a post of their own. It doesn't require a formal invitation to engage in a dialogue. I've always been of the mind if you really don't have anything to say substantively or can't add to the conversation, there's no shame in simply not saying anything. Making a post simply to disagree because you feel I personally insulted a presidential candidate, but you skip the part where I explained why said what I did, isn't really crafting an instructive counter argument. Apparently for some reason you think Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are more viable presidential options than HRC, which doesn't mean a thing if you can't articulate in some basic way why you feel they're both better options.
Do you really think that Donald Trump, who allegedly asked "If we have nukes then why can't we use them," would make better foreign policy decisions than Hillary Clinton? And I promise that I'm not trying to be snarky, I am genuinely curious as to the thought process behind that kind of opinion. Personally, I'll take someone who's made foreign policy blunders (read: every single President who's ever held office and had to deal with another country) over someone who says with a straight face that he "knows more about ISIS than the generals do," despite proving to the entire world just how little he knows about foreign policy every time he gets within ten feet of a microphone.
<snip> Don't forget Trump and McMullin...quite frankly they're also more viable than HRC at this point too. My position is actually much easier than that and I agree with what Hillary has said in many instances. Not that it matters since it has become impossible to determine whether she's lying or not. In any event, she has simply disqualified herself as being an option. End of story. To answer your question why...I already have. I refer you back to my initial post on the this topic. "Someone that is actively investigated by the FBI (now twice) is unfit for the serious responsibility of the highest office in the land. Someone that has displayed a clearly documented history of corruption, collusion, pay-for-play politics, and engages in obstruction of justice all while serving as a public servant is patently unfit. " You can't say this about any other candidate, just Hillary. Listen, I get it. Hillary can lie, cheat, do all sorts of unethical/criminal nonsense as a public servant. Hell, she can probably spit in your face and you might still vote for her. It's sad, imho, but you can exercise your right to vote anyway you want....But you know it's getting bad when members of the press are telling her to step aside.
To be accurate, Anthony Weiner is being investigated by the NY FBI for his alleged texts with a 15 year old at which point emails associated with Huma, his ex-wife, were found on their laptop. The FBI is investigating whether or not Huma sent classified documents to her laptop, which has nothing at all to do with Hillary. Critics of HRC love to talk in generalities but when pressed can rarely if ever present evidence for the 'blatant' corruption of Hillary Clinton. Yeah Hillary has examples of where she was engaged in behavior that looks bad, but nothing where she was seriously breaking the law or illegally enriching herself. IMO HRC is tricky sometimes, but she's not a crook and doesn't deserve to be in jail.
And again who the fuck are we left with if "justice" is served? A fraudulent inexperienced alleged rapist who doesn't have a single business partner to stand with him as he campaigns for president? Again conservatives whats the end game here?
Chests on his taxes? You do know he'd be in jail if he did. FYI, Hillary applied the same capital loss carry-over break for herself in 2015. And Bill Clinton was responsible for that 1993 tax loophole, just so you know. As for business partners..who has condemed him? In business you will find disgruntles, but l don't see them actively campaigning for Hillary. In fact, one hundred business heads wrote an OPEN LETTER supporting Trump. Excerpt: OPEN LETTER FROM BUSINESS LEADERS SUPPORTING DONALD TRUMP ...As entrepreneurs, we believe our nation needs a President who understands free markets because he’s lived and worked in them. We need a President who understands how government can hobble innovation, destroy opportunity and restrain growth. We need a President who knows how economic freedom can lift people out of poverty, open paths to and grow the middle class while offering everyone the opportunity to earn their success. Donald Trump would be that President. Signed: Irma Aguirre, Owner of the El Sombrero Mexican Bistro. Ed Atsinger, CEO of Salem Media Group, Inc. No he wouldn't. That's why people like me and Loki have a job. A good CPA and a tax lawyer will keep you far from jail and someone like him can keep that shit tied up for decades. And out of those 100 who actually did business with him?
He did business with hundreds if not thousands of businesses. Where are all these anti trump businesses if you think your position is as such. And seriously.. Decades? Exaggerate much?
I'd be curious to know which business owners who signed this list actually have done business with Trump. To know Trump is to hate Trump.
If Americans can't see how incredibly unfit that man is to be president, ya know based on the fact that he's a racist, homophobic, sexist, tax evading liar who feels his wealth affords him the right to sexually assault women in mass numbers... The simple fact that he's a hypocrite on top of all that won't mean shit. To those people, Hillary's emails are of much more importance. Basic human decency takes a back seat in their minds. If nothing else, this election has taught me that attempts to debate the willfully ignorant will never be a worthwhile use of my time or resources :smt069
