Agreed. About 5 years ago I was done with Jennifer Aniston and all of the media drama surrounding her.
Exactly. Nothing against her but my God, Brad and Jen divorced over 10 years ago. Enough already, media!
Lol In regards to Beyonce I think she hot but she has been putting out crap and they still eat it. I'm like "what in the world......?"
Ditto. Agree with everything, except that I think you're too generous with Reagan. He was a mumbling nincompoop, in my opinion. A stage actor delivering tough-guy lines while Bush 41 and Kissinger did all the dirty work behind the scenes.
Twitter, it's basically just instagram for people who talk too much. Any and all new dances that come out. Jerking, Juju dance, whip and naenae, etc. worldstarhiphop, ebaumsworld was so much better. Pokemon Go, boring app that i deleted after a week of playing. Wonder Woman, there are so many better and more interesting female superheros. J. Cole, corny lyrics, I have no idea why people say he's such a great artist.
Tupac Star Wars:The Force Awakens Mad Max Fury Road Marijuana as a pain releaver. Native Instruments' Maschine Fat asses (cause some of these chicks look clumsy with it).
YYYup. Pac was good. But never great. He was never on Big's or Nas's or Jay's level. He just had that charisma. More charisma than talent. A modern day equivalent is Little Wayne. Again, good. But never, ever great.
Lil Wayne is far from a modern Pac. Lil wayne got his success by riding Birdman's dic- I mean coattails. Without that connect he would be nowhere. Dude is definitely on the top 10 list of worst mainstream rappers to ever come out. Right next to Vanilla Ice and Ja Rule.
Bruh ... no. ...lol ...just no. Pac had better content because that's what was in back then. But, his tecnique and word play was no better than Wayne's. Dude was a bat, cat, hat rapper with a good delivery.
I liked Pac. His word play was good but his delivery was great. That's where he killed it!! Nas, my fav of all time!! Little Wayne,,,,, best album was "The Carter". It had that east mentality (supposedly ghost written by Gillie the Kid") [i truely believe believe].
This is a horrible opinion, but it's not wrong because we are discussing an art which is why I am so glad to be a man of science. I love the arts but the subjective nature of it would drive me crazy if I were to take it seriously. I'm not even going to defend Pac here because equating him to lil wayne while saying Jay z is better is rediculous, this is a perfect example of why I could never take the arts seriously.
Pac, like Wayne, is a product of his era. If Wayne had come out in the era Pac did, his subject matter would be closer to what Pac was doing. It would've had to be because that's what the streets wanted. He would've had more substance. And the same could be reversed. Had Pac just come out in Wayne's era, I don't think his bars would've been as conscious and therby as meaningful. But, as Beasty said, it really is subjective. I'd like to think my opinion means more because I used write bars and I still write lyrics and music, but to tell the truth, even that doesn't mean anything because we're talking about something we feel. And it's almost impossible to quantify feelings. At the end of the day none of us are right. We just know what we like and what moves us. Pac moved you. That's what's important. No qualifiers needed. But, arguing over arts, politics or religion is still fun as hell, though. BTW, Ja Rule = Vanilla Ice? That's cold, mayne. No pun intended. ...lol
