Who is your Celebrity Wifey / hubby material?

This thread is a spin-off from the overrated thread. In this thread you tell us who is worthy of marrying and give your reasons. For the guy's it's Wifey and the ladies its hubby material. They could be entertainers, political figures, ect...

For me it's the following


Katie Perry, m.obama , Megan mccain, Phylicia Rashad, Sophia Vergara, Janell Monet, Megan Kelly , Sonny Hostin,charlize theron (I'm sure I spelled her name wrong) and Jennifer Lawrence.

All these women carry themselves with a good amount of class and intelligence.Sophia and Charlize are just sexy....bam . Just banging.

Katie and jlaw have that fun vibe to them. Sonny and Obama have that class and intelligence thang going on. I love that.

Megan McCain seems down to earth. Shes chunky but funky. Shes very intelligent. I dig her

@k If you really think on it u can get some insight on how people measure up a person. For a certain typ of relationship. . You maybe seen by guys as just a jump-off others my see you as just a ddatingwoman but will not get promoted to a wife.

There are reasons for that.

Same with women , some women may see certain dudes as certain way.

Najwa Nimri - singer, actress. Why? Because she bears an eerie similarity to the love of my life and even played a role with her name in the movie 'Open Your Eyes'.

Monica Bellucci - actress. She is just elegant, beautiful and amazing.

Cate Blanchett - actress. Galadriel, anyone?

And yes, I know this is purely fantasy. Lol

 

I just don't think most people are so stupid as to think that they would look to high profile people as a standard for someone to marry. You have no way of really knowing who or how that person really is. You are just seeing what they (and their image creator/managers) want you to see.

I would think people have more depth than to look to the veil one sees of a high profile person for a spouse.

When we are talking about marriage, I would really hope that people are mature enough to not look to celebrities as a model of what they would seek.

You may not like it, but truly the thread reminded me of sitting at events with my kids and listening to what the 12-13 year old girls are talking about.

Oh and...because maybe there are already an abundance of celebrity worship threads on this forum. Do we really need more?

In this really cool country freedom is great and along with it is reasonability. You made a choice (that freedom) to come in a thread you didn't like and you got called out (my freedom to speak in rebuttal) Use your freedom wisely. Oh for the record YOU came in the thread with the insults and thus I responded. So you get over it. Also you don't have control over the threads made so you deal with it.

Where is the Overrated Thread?

Okay, I'll bite:

Kevin Hart - he's good-looking and very funny. His voice may get annoying after awhile, but I make a point to see most, if not all, of his films.

Leonardo DiCaprio - I'm not his type as I'm over 25 and not a supermodel, but this is all make believe, right? LOL. Why him? Because he's cute and he cares about the environment and uses his celebrity in good ways. I admire celebrities who do that. He's uber-liberal and that would get annoying after awhile, but I like his passion for helping out the environment (a subject that's near and dear to me).

Karl Urban - because when I first saw him onscreen, I nearly fell out of my chair. I find him so yummy and he's another one whose career I follow pretty closely. Reading about him online, I've read he's a nice guy. Plus he posts a bunch of mashups with him and the Star Trek crew and it really shows their fun side.

I think that's good for now.
