Op is sad that a woman he found very attractive committted suicide. It's kinda sick in a way how we choose whose story we are moved by based on how attractive they are. Have you guys noticed when it comes to these types stories or murder in the news, the victim hardly looks less than than what Society deems attractive.
I think there were a couple of cases where that did happen. I remember some cases resulted in murder.
I think it is because of the fact that the victim is attractive makes a more interesting story for the media. The fact that the person is attractive elicits the thoughts and feelings about the person whose looks could open many doors. If the person is not attractive, there is some sympathy. Not as much as the attractive person. This person is merely a small note on the obituaries. The attractive person, the victim goes to primetime.
A conservative commentator, Michelle Malkin, refer to this as Pretty White Girl Syndrome, but her definition is commonly more used to described the media focusing too much on white girls gone missing.
Between this tragedy and the political mudslinging this election season, I've really grown to despise the general media.
Probably. There are stupid people everywhere. So this woman makes a sex video of herself with her new boyfriend and sends it to her ex and it goes viral and she kills herself. It's a situation where someone did something really hurtful to another person and it turned around to bite her on the ass hard and then instead of dealing with her actions she took herself out. My questioning why you chose to have it on this site is because this is an IR site. Did I miss that this was an IR relationship? I'm just questioning why someone would feel the need to bring this story to the site? What's the purpose?
Like Natalie Holloway. It's always the same. A heinous crime, a beautiful woman, ghastly discoveries. The JonBenet Ramsey case is another example.
News is news, if everything had to related to ww/bm only that would fucking blow harder than a groupie with her favorite rapper. Imagine how many interesting conversations and perspectives that would be missed out on because we chose to focus on a niche.
Like it is said among media sources, "If it bleeds, it leads." The focus on niches has been going on for years. CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, CNBC, Al-Jazeera, the list goes on. It's all out there for viewing.
