I don't have any problem with offering up my opinion when I choose to do so. Sometimes I state something and don't keep on going with it simply because I have no need to try to change anyone's mind or convince them of anything. I say my part and when I'm done I move on. Sometimes I just don't bother because it gets so damn repetitive. I've been on here many years now.

I was the last response on your second thread that you posted. I answered the question you posed.

I don't get the need to go back to old threads. When people have played them out and they are done with them they fade away. Certain topics are ongoing and may always be. They should be discussed and usually there are plenty of new situations that come up to provide new material (even sometimes a different spin) to discuss.

Are you seriously wanting me (and other women) to discuss race now? Previously you said the men are always talking about that and the women don't want to - which is it? I'm often right there in those discussions, so I'm not understanding why you are asking for my pov....go check my posts. There are plenty of them about racial issues.

My reference to "sideways" is two fold. One being that you bounce around on topics and it makes it difficult to follow. I think sometimes you may think you are saying things that you don't get down on the page. Sometimes it seems like you aren't putting down your complete thoughts. Two being the way that you type at times can make it VERY difficult to understand what you are saying.

I don't really care for being disrespected or dismissed given that I am one of the women who is still here, Raider being another. To say there are nothing but dudes in here is ridiculous, and insulting those women who are still here probably wouldn't be the best idea if you are actually wanting women to continue to post and more to come.

Holding up Bliss as some sort of authority as to what women are wanting on this site is not a wise idea.

I like seeing stuff like this. Even though I participate in a lot of other threads and now date a non white woman I have to say I still love seeing ww who really get it. I find it pretty rare which I often struggle with and get annoyed at but you guys give me hope.

WTF is white anyway? LOL a man the other day told me I wasn't white cause I'm Italian and why does anyone think any differently. WTF do I know.

 

That shit is fluid it ain't even funny. Japanese were considered white before WWII in this country. Jews are considered white on the east coast but not in certain parts of the south. Apparently Armenians aren't considered white by some until they either date bm which is weird because they literally come from the Caucus mountains. I've got cousins who are so light skin they are lighter than a lot of Greek and Italian girls I've dated but they're still black. This is why I think this race shit is completely ridiculous there is really no true rhyme or reason to it, just people trying to unload their emotional uneasiness onto others in order to feel good.

I know some 'White' people get offended being called White because they see it as a cultural thing, and being called White doesn't recognize someone's unique cultural heritage.

 

Dude I got a Cuban friend like that, eyes as blue as the sky but if you call her white she gets super offended but her mom hard core right wing Republican who hates all the damn immigrants coming in even though they escaped Castro in the 70s.
This all about emotional shit and wanting to feel superior because there's no real equation. The only universal thing I do notice the darker you are in any area the more you're hated.

TDK is right though....there are some non-black people with definite kinky fros out there. Just as there are some black people with different texture hair. This is where that whole wtf is black or white anyway thing comes up.
