Again..show me where l criticized. I said several times to you that understand the movement. What l don't understand is the non inclusion of black lives murdered by non-cops. That's what brings many cops to the community.

The typical response is to ask for solutions. Any solution that is outside of looking in the mirror is what they will accept.

And do you think will be seen in the mirror?

I replied that because you said to me.. "You don't see a problem with the mentality of this kind of training??"

    Btw, you said...
"Cops most of all seem worried about encountering suspects with firearms, which is part of the reason they are inclined to used excessive force in many interactions with the public."
Here, you're reiterating what the cop said in the Psychology Today article above.

FYI, this expression goes as far back as the early 70's...

"..31 January 1973, New York (NY) Times, “Official Ban Ignored: Police Carry Extra Guns Despite Department Ban Weapons Carried Junkies With Weapons” by Christopher S. Wren, pg. 85:
“We have been told that if we get caught in the car with anything other than a .38, we’ll have charges brought against us,” said one young patrolman from the 83d Precinct, which covers the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. “But it’s better to be judged by 12 men than carried by six. That’s the motto around here.”

That a lot of the "solution" is in that person to stop being a demented fuck up. Stop selling dope stop killing stop etc etc.

Ok and then what. In area where there are no jobs and rampant poverty what are the other options to feed and house yourself?

No... That's not what I said... Below is what I said which is about holding them accountable for wrongdoing/police brutality. As of now... More often than not they're given the benefit of the doubt solely on the strength that they're police officers and rarely held accountable. This is the main reason BLM exists today, but of course some want to make them out to be a hate group and/or throw up smoke screens about black on black crime to divert attention from the police' role in this problem.

There's jobs. Not jobs they want but there are jobs and school to be had for free. No one HAS to rob and steal and kill

We've had this conversation before if there is one job for every four people what do the other three do?
I always wonder if we spent as much time trying to fix that problem instead of policing people where would be
Instead of a war on poverty
We got a war on drugs so the police can bother me.

Where did you get the one job for four people number? So you're telling me that all the thugs on the corner were on a job hunt before they settled into the thug life? GTFO lol

You suggested we look in the mirror. You have a problem with the crime in Chicago.......so you tell me what looking in the mirror was supposed to be about.

I like what I see "in the mirror" what about you?

Wasn't talking about you particularly I'm saying the solution for the issues going on there are largely staring right back at them in the mirror. Stop fucking poisoning your people stop shooting your people. Etc etc. wasn't talking about you you seem to have your shit together.

No but if I see everyone around me struggling and see a lot of people trying but failing the traditional way selling drugs might seem attractive.

Attractive? Ok I'll give you that but are you that weak where you have to go there?
