This woman gets it! The media has black folks over the proverbial barrel and some how No one in the black community sees this shit.

The whole Trump thing hurt every other Republican candidate. I don't think any of them got a fair shot.

The media was very complicit in this year's election, for both sides - in different ways.

God forbid the media reports on FACTS whether or not they're interesting. Your explanation just feeds into my comment.

No arguement here. Trump (and Giuliani) insist that Trump is mistreated by the media, and specifically that they scrutinize his statements. Well.. Yes, they do because it's expected that he's going to say something crazy, and he regularly proves them right.

I remember a similar thing happening in sports some years ago. Just about any football fan knows that Terrell Owens was a major asshole, and total prima donna. Well... He once made a similar complaint about the media, but he totally didn't get that he's feeding them their ammo. They can't say anything if he didn't give them the juicy material everytime. Sadly for him, he didn't wise up until he had become an outcast and no team was willing to take a chance on him.

Did you watch the first debate? Fox news and everyone else was beating on trump

People started backing Cruz to avoid trump(too little too late) Both are terrible in my opinion. JEB was clearly better than both.

I suspect that a flood in LA is a fact. Or a HUGE fire in CA is a FACT. This is literally the problem. When they do talk about important things, they are bias.... Do you know how many people got displaced in those two things alone? You don't find that more important?

I think that was strategic though. The "beating on" was set up to thrust him more into the spotlight so they can back him. I firmly feel that he and Hillary and more so him would be two of the most corrupt presidents we will ever have.

It wasn't, man. He has been rubbing people the wrong way for years.:smt009

I don't see how you can claim either one will be most corrupt. We have had presidents who were slave owners and Nixon was far worse than Bill Clinton. I expect the same nonsense like in the Clinton era but nothing on the level of Nixon.

Trump would be way more corrupt he's a self serving greedy ass dude. I can see the lobbyist getting to him way easier than Clinton. Though they will get to her pretty easy as well.

As much as I dislike obamas policies I honestly feel like he thinks what he is doing is right. I respect that even if I don't agree with him. I thought the same of George w bush.

That statement in bold is exactly how 99% of the people on the forum feel which is why she is getting a large chunk of the vote from the forum. They are not voting for Clinton. They are voting against trump.

I sit and read post after post of you, bliss and bookworm fighting other members who feel this way! Waste of time.

Trouble with that is that there is at least another 100 million people that can vote and they may vote for what most of us on this forum beleive to be the worse of the two.

Unlike Taco Bell when A employee fucks up everyone doesn't act like it never happened. There is accountability

Now that I think about it. Someone mentioned that women don't riot over rape.

Can anyone ever recall when men rioting over a rape?

    isn't that the equivalent?

I do recall seeing women in riots over police brutality.

Exactly. They aren't put on paid administrative leave. Very few jobs will people be given a year paid vacation (or longer) when they fuck up. In most jobs, you screw up and they put you out. IF you can show you didn't do anything wrong then you may get your job back.

I'm going to say this and let it be
    .
The fire that burned 175 buildings started on the same day of the riots that burned down 4 buildings. If there was no racism whatsoever, that riot would have never been touch in comparison to a guy who burned down the neighborhood. The riot would have to have continued for at least a month to do as much damage as the arsonist who started the fire.

You do a youtube search for both and you will more than likely see some of the most racist comments about black people on youtube about the riots. The fire in cali barely any comments on my first three hits and not even to the degree of racism splashed across the youtube pages about the riot.

I don't think it is possibly on this forum to have a civil conversation about black on black crime without people doing name calling of any black people. I have seen and read it in this thread!!!!! and that is why it doesn't happen more or less addressing another question asked on the forum

Exactly! Of course when someone questions any part of this... The so-called "police supporters" want to call them anti-police. How dare us to be calling for accountability within the police force.

Does the the person committing the crime that initiated police contact in the first place get any blame?

That's what the courts are for. Is it too much to ask of the police to get them there? After all its our tax dollars. Do the job right or not at all. They can be replaced just like anyone else on any other job.

So they escalate the situation shit gets bad and the police are to blame for the final outcome? Awesome. I'm willing to give the blame on the police for overreacting when a situation gets stressful. They are human after all and shit can get real, real quick.

All these people that expect cops to be perfect in every situation of when dealing with a thug I would love to see how they handle it. There are some cases where the cop has been wrong as hell. There are some cases where the person definitely had a hand in their own demise.

I would love to see cops just flat out move out of these areas that people think they are being so wronged and let them fend for themselves and see how truly a place no law and order would go. It would be like the fucking purge.
